Introduction

I'm Emily Ann, an occupational therapist and the proud founder of Little Truck Therapies. I’ve been deeply honored to work with clients from 3 months to 103 years old, each with their own unique story and journey. My focus is on neuro-rehabilitation and pediatrics, supported by advanced training in neurology, child development, aging in place, and animal-assisted services. What truly drives me is the chance to walk alongside people as they overcome challenges and rediscover independence. When I’m not working, I cherish time outdoors with my family and the special moments spent training my therapy dog, Frederick James.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Curious
Creative
Full of Heart
I’d say I’m curious, creative, and full of heart. I love finding fun, meaningful ways to help people grow and thrive—whether that means crawling on the floor during a pediatric session or problem-solving everyday challenges with adults. I’m a big believer in meeting people where they’re at and making therapy feel like a team effort. I bring energy, flexibility, and a sense of humor to my sessions because I know growth doesn’t have to be boring. I’m passionate about what I do and truly honored to walk alongside each client on their journey.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I’m best positioned to serve individuals across the lifespan who are navigating developmental, neurological, or functional challenges. Whether it’s a baby working on early motor milestones, a child building regulation and fine motor skills, or an adult recovering from a neurological event, I meet each client where they are. I especially love supporting families who want therapy that feels collaborative, personalized, and rooted in everyday life. My approach is compassionate, creative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I’m here to help clients gain confidence, independence, and a greater sense of control in their daily lives.
