Nice little community YMCA. Good quality equipment jam-packed into a fairly nice space. Clean with well maintained equipment. Not much in regards to free weights and no platforms. Limited space around machines due to the amount of fitness equipment Small three-lane pool and locker rooms have a sauna and steam room. Small cycling studio and several other small studios. Good old fashion gymnasium for basketball and other activities.

Love to go to Elmhurst YMCA my husband go to walk on treadmill and I love to lap swimming

I love the YMCA at Elmhurst. I am a member for around 5 years. The classes are awesome. They have different classes for different levels. The instructors are great. They are always encouraging you to give the 100. I have to say that the pandemic times was easier to handle with them. The staff in general are very kind and I feel that I am part of the community. Thanks

Everyone of the Elmhurst YMCA are friendly and helpful. Carol is usually the first smile to greet you -. The facilities offered are generally clean and kept up. The pool and gym are perfect for me. I appreciate the Y.

You can find me here 4 times a week. Free weights Cybex machines and plenty of cardio options give you plenty of options for a good workout. Want a bigger challenge There are options for fitness classes personalized training and swimming. In the winter the ice rink is open for skating and hockey.

Love the senior classes at the Elmhurst YMCA Chair yoga is the best Carol the front desk clerk makes the place so special. She greets everyone with a warm smile and learns your name right away which makes you feel welcome in this location.

YMCA has very bad management. I tried to enroll my son into the swimming program so I contacted them. The associate was not available so I emailed her. After several days of waiting she did not write back so I gave her a call. She didnt pick up so I left a voicemail. She never got back to me.

I have been going here for about 2 years as it is very close to my house and super convenient. The staff is pretty friendly and for the most part the locker rooms and gym area are both pretty clean. There was an incident a while back with one of the kids room attendants where she was shaming a year and a half old boy for soiling his diaper...she went to call the mom and when she came to change her son the attendant was covering her nose with her shirt and complaining to another parent about how bad the kid smells. Wish I could remember her name...

I am probably not the best person to objectively judge this place considering Im infatuated with it. For someone visiting for the first time probably nothing will stand out. Yet there are so many amenities here - pool is pretty nice there is a huge gym and ice rink is magical in the winter.Their youth programs are pretty good. Considering they have mentioned amenities pool gym ice rink they are able to take kids for lots of extra activities.
