This was my vacation getaway from 2014-2019 when I was 12 up until I was 17. I enjoyed swimming arts crafts campfires recreation nature science chorus music movement camp wide activities and so much more. I even enjoyed the Point Pleasant trip in 2016 and 2017. I also enjoyed the Manasquan Beach trip in 2018 and 2019. I am now 18 and I now live in Michigan.

This place was built by volunteers from numerous Elk Lodges throughout NJ. The camp is for handicap and disabled children. It is a wonderful place for them to get away and have fun playing games going swimming and going on field trips. The camp has volunteers from all over the world who specializes in handicap and disabled children. This camp offers a welcome relief to the parents of these children. This is a fun and exciting place. This camp runs on donations So please go to your local Elks Lodge and donate.

I volunteered at this camp with the Elks to cook dinner and dessert for special needs children. It was an amazing experience. It has beds for the children and camp counselors a pool sprinklers basketball ball courts full kitchen lunch room playground and more. I didnt even explore the whole camp. It is such a great place run by a great charitable organization.

This was my vacation getaway from when I was ages 12-18. I was the person who showed off my potential and did what I was good at. I was the person who knew how to talk to girls. I am now 21 and I now live in North Carolina meaning I dont remember many people from this camp fondly albeit a counselor I had a counselor I hung around with that enjoyed my company a camper I got along with pretty well or a girl I was a flirt towards. Any newcomer with a disability that lives in Jersey do ECM. Trust me you will not be disappointed even though I went through a break-up at 13.

The only place I ever felt safe sending my special needs child for sleep away camp not only is it so beautifully set in the mountains. His personal camp counselor was so nice and I can tell when I picked him up that he truly enjoyed every bit of his stay. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to send him last year for the first time. I hope he can attend again this year because he had a blast. Thank you so much to all the staff who make each campers week memorable.

My sons third year and we love it Staff is personable patient and very kind. Camp counselors are predominately from other countries with great accents. One of the best special needs camps in NJ They really care about the kids and it shows. Activities are based on the campers abilities and they work on strengthening those skills. My son calls it his home away from home. I praise God for the blessing He has bestowed upon us by opening up the door for him to attend Camp Moore. My son would love to become a counselor in two years when he turns 18....well c With God all things are possible so.....
