I will NEVER go Back To El RIO Will Never Be Seen By Such an Unprofessional Unethical Rude Doctor BERNADETTE QUIHUISShe Does Not Listen Or Care about how u feeling or why u there to see herShe will Not Treat You or test you properly .I had to leave her office with out proper medical attention medications or even knowing what was wrong with me or how to feel better I asked for blood test before my appointment but yet she only tested me for what ever she wanted not what i Requested or needed to be tested for NOW I gotta make a new appointment to get my blood test PROPERLYYall best belive she send me on my way home and charged my insurance tons of money FOR NOTHING Have to make another app to see another doctor because Dr.Quihuis is good for nothing just ripping off erbodys insurance and not giving patients properr medical attention ortreating patients Profesional Im Disgusted by her unacceptable Unethical unprofecional behaviorScamingPatientsTheirInsurance

If it would let me not even give it one star I would. It was my first time coming to this location and seeing BERNADETTE QUIHUIS DO. Ive been a patient at el rio ever since I was a child but I want to start off by saying this is the WORST LOCATION ive ever been to and the worst experience. First of all my question is how is this women even in the medical field It seemed to me like this lady DID NOT even know what she was doing. Not only did she look so unprofessional but her way of doing things were so different from other providers ive seen. She did not even give me answers and as soon as she was done she stepped out without even saying anything and never came back to give me information or answers seems to me like im not the only one who has dealt with this lady. How is she even still working here I am so upset and disappointed because not only did she waste my time but I came in for something very serious. Something needs to be done ASAP because nobody deserves this type of service and especially if it is medical related.

Had to wait almost two months for appointments for my children. Did multiple appointment confirmations via their automated phone calls and text messages. Also received several email confirmations. Less than twenty-four hours before the appointments I received a voicemail from someone there with different appointment times for my children. Calling back their number took me to a call center where they only saw the new times and not the original appointments. The appointment times were changed without even discussing it with me and the person on the phone could not even see a record of it being changed. I could have been late for my first appointment there it wouldnt be my fault but I would have definitely been penalized for it So far not a good experience.I arrived fifteen minutes early for the appointments but the doctor didnt actually see us until forty minutes past our appointment time. Dr. Patricia Strempel is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. She was dismissive of legitimate concerns about my sons speech development but was pushing for appointments for a nutritionist for my five year old son. I was concerned that he may have autism I was dismissed and rudely informed that my five year old son is learning disabled. I want to mention here that this doctor was masked and I had difficulty understanding her let alone my son. She knew him all of five minutes. How can a young child follow directions when no one can understand your muffled voice or see your face for directions on opening your mouth sticking your tongue out etc She was also getting visibly frustrated with him Beyond awful human being. This is someone who has never dealt with weight issues clearly and is fat-phobic. My husband is six feet 3 inches tall. She had no interest in any of that.I am still deeply disturbed by this appointment. I brought up his speech development first and she was more interested in his obesity. Even though he is above average for height as well. Then she made extremely unprofessional comments that he cant follow simple directions and he is learning disabled. What a rude and apathetic woman. Why is this pediatrician even around children She clearly has no skills to deal with them or their parents. She smiles I think behind her mask at you while saying cruel words to your face with no regard for the language she uses. Ugh.Avoid this doctor and go anywhere else. I think a wild coyote would have been a friendlier and kinder face.Edit My son tested above his grade level. Thanks for labeling him during the 5 minutes you bothered to be in the examination room as learning disabled. Great job Dr. Strempel LOL

The dental work done here is excellent. Aneth is a great dental hygienist.

Dr.BERNADETTE QUIHUIS was not only RUDE to my mother during her appointment yesterday but also didnt have the human decency to face my mom while she talked or look at my mother when she would point to the places she was feeling pain. On top of that she cut my mother off MID SENTENCE and told her I dont have any more time for you after only seeing her for a couple minutes. As if that wasnt enough she LIED on my moms MyChart saying she got angry and walked out of the room because there was no test result even though my mom never asked about a test result non the less get angry and walk out. My mom remained respectful and clam during the whole visit. It was BERNADETTE who walked out. I read several comments complaining about this lady. She does NOT deserve the title of Dr. if this is how she treats her CLIENTS who come to her for MEDICAL HELP. I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND DO BETTER

Went in for an emergency tooth extraction and it was the worst experience the dr was so rough and hard. I told her I was feeling more than pressure and she was like no no its just pressure umm no it was pain. She was too busy talking to 3 other people around her about concerts and plans then she was about being gentle and considerate for the fact I was already in pain. I left in more pain than when I went in. I couldnt believe how swollen my face was and how purple my mouth looked. And the pain never stop it turned in to dry socket and there was parts of tooth fragments left. I had to go to a different dentist just to get the relief I needed. I have had other teeth extracted and this was by far the worst. I dont recommend at all especially if you dont have insurance or on State insurance they look and treat u differently. And their care is poor and unprofessional

My daughter was supposed to have wisdom teeth removed with anesthesia scheduled on a Tuesday with the anesthesiologist to be there. Since we are still dealing with Covid I was not allowed to go back with her. She was taken back for her surgery I asked if I needed to pick her up in the back they said no she would come out through the front I was anticipating them to inform me that I needed to get her since she was supposed to be under anesthesia she called me from the back of the building crying they never used anesthesia she felt the whole thing the people were very rude with complete lack of sympathy or empathy for that matter when I was on the phone with them regarding pain medication and what we were going to do and expressing my frustration they could have cared less and told me to call one of the other offices from where the orders were sent I will be making sure that I let everyone know about how awful this facility is and how they completely lack care for patients To top it off they did bring in the gas mask and tank but never offered to use it on her she said she cried throughout the entire surgery.

I dont think theyre are committed to stopping the spread of covid and I definitely did not feel like my families health is a priority. Today I attempted to get my children tested for covid. They once again have a new system. We waited over an hour just to be told the wait will be infinite and they could not offer any solution due to problems with the new system. The people at the front desk were callus. They didnt not seem to care that my children were feeling Ill they were robotic and only repeated the same thing. Since I wasted the entire morning at this location I could not get an appointment anywhere else.On other occasion I attempted to receive my covid vaccine only to wait over an hour past my appointment time. I didnt plan to be there over an hour so I couldnt wait any longer. Im extremely disappointed in the service.

As a registered nurse I am appalled by my customer service and communication with this dentist. Im a travel nurse and had to get a root canal core build up and a crown while I was in Tucson. The main office is incredibly rude and short. No one follows up Ive had to call multiple times about my issues. I had to pay in full for my crown and core build up because they stated I was denied I called my insurance and that was NEVER the case. So not sure how they acquired that information. Staff continued being rude. I had to pay this unprofessional business 1600. I have been waiting OVER A MONTH for my refund of 800 I have called for or five times now and no one gives me answers. No one calls me back and no one follows through. Awful awful awful place.

The staff is ridiculously overbooked. I only saw the doctor for 5 minutes before she left to go look at another patient. The entire time i saw her she had the wrong patient file. There was never any checking if I was the correct patient. She only figured out something was wrong when she asked about an allergy to medication. This seems like a great way to commit a HIPPA violation. She asked if I had other questions while walking out the door. I was so rushed I didnt even get to address all of my questions. On my second visit the doctor only seemed to find certain symptoms relevant and entirely discounted others. When i went to have my prescription filled more than 4 hours after my appointment the prescription still hadnt been called in.
