Deserves no starsI am deeply saddened and utterly disgusted by the treatment my son received at the hands of the this YMCA an organization supposedly guided by Christian morals. It breaks my heart to see that in this day and age reminiscent of the tragic case of Emmett Till my son was asked not to come back simply because another child didnt like the way he looked at her.Instead of addressing the issue with sensitivity and understanding the director callously informed us that our son was no longer welcome at the facility. There was no investigation no opportunity for my son to defend himself just a cold rejection based on a superficial perception. The lack of accountability and empathy displayed by the director is appalling especially within an organization that claims to uphold Christian values of love compassion and acceptance. Its horrifying to think that in a supposedly progressive society my son can be rejected solely because an innocent glance that someone didnt appreciate. We reached out to the central office in search of justice and resolution but our pleas fell on deaf ears. This indifference only serves to highlight the systemic issues of discrimination and inequality that continue to plague our society. How do you explain to a child that they are not accepted simply because of who they are How do you tell them that their worth is diminished because of someone elses prejudices These are questions that should never have to be asked in a just and inclusive society. This experience serves as a stark reminder of how far we still have to go in the fight for civil rights and genuine acceptance. Its a wake-up call that discrimination is still very much alive lurking beneath the surface of our supposedly enlightened world. We must continue to stand up against such injustices and strive for a future where every child is valued and accepted for who they are regardless of the color of their skin or the way they look at someone especially within organizations that claim to uphold Christian morals.

Its always a pleasure to work out in the strength training area. All the coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable. I try to work out at least five times a week and have tried other locations but it feels great to come back home.

I have to say that Gwen at the front desk was so nice and extremely welcoming. Just that interaction at 5am made my day.I just used the pool for a few laps - I am from out of town and of course there was the Masters swimming in there like a bunch of torpedos. BUT they called me over gave me a lane I offered to join their train but they are 120 per 100 - Me 125 so I would have slowed them down . BUT again super hospitable and friendly... what a great experience and I cannot wait to get down there again. If they come up to Michigan they can swim with us anytime.6 Stars all day long

Joined mainly to use the indoor pool. Out of 5 lanes 4 lanes are occupied for swim lessons. 1 lane needs to be shared with 10 people. Sometimes 2 lanes are there and they come and ask us to move to other lane since your kid is slowly swimming and others can do laps. My son got offended and he is not ready to come for swimming.

We love the amenities if they will honor them took our kids to the daycare area and they said they couldnt watch them the full 2 hours and that they werent allowed to have food or water while in there Crazy no food or water in a kids area its like they forgot they were kids once and dont seem to really care about children. Been a YMCA member since 2016 across 3 different states and visit here when in town with the ext family they were not this way in the past...sad.
