I worked for this organization for 15 years. I loved every minute of it. This organization has integrity efficiency and care for staff and clients.

I work in an Assisted Living community and received a call from a staff member who worked in the ILS HousingNavigation department -- the staff member held themselves poorly over the phone asking questions about unit availability without identifying the organization they are working for. It was only after calling back the number that I was routed to the voicemail of East Bay Innovations. I respect the work that placement agencies do to serve their clients but had a poor experience today speaking to the gentleman.

EBI is a great job opportunity. Support is always there clients are wonderful and I feel the pay is accurate for the work you do.

Not a fan of the clients too much but love the staff for their help and yeah pretty much it

I have known and worked with the people at East Bay Innovations EBI for over 17 years. We have hired people who are clients of the supported work program we partner with them on disability rights public policy issues and we collaborate with them to provide information on inclusion transition and self-advocacy through training. EBIs good work remains stable amidst fragile public funding due to the diversity of funding resources and the support of donors.

East Bay Innovations EBI has provided exceptional services for individuals with disabilities for over 25 years. As their name indicates they are innovators. EBI was among the first developmental disability service agencies in California to provide supported living skills. They revolutionized supported employment training and have one of the best employment placement rates in the state for those who complete their internships that are cosponsored with community partners.EBI is an excellent place to work and they strive to hire and promote within the agency. They provide career ladder training to help direct support staff move into supervisory positions. They also have a diversity committee and vigorously seek a staff that reflects the rich diversity in the East Bay.Whether you are a consumer or advocate for a consumer seeking a wide variety of outstanding disability services or are a professional seeking employment I very highly recommend East Bay Innovations. They are in the vanguard of disability service providers in Northern California.

As an employer our company has been working with EBI for several years now. We launched an internship program together to hire people with disabilities. East Bay Innovations EBI has done a wonderful job over the past eight years for our now 34 year old daughter who has an intellectual disability. EBIs employment services have helped her train for seek obtain and retain a good paying steady job that she loves in the child care field. EBIs independent living skills counselors have helped with housekeeping shopping cooking transportation financial and medical advocacy skills that have enabled our daughter to successfully move into her own apartment and live independently. Our daughter is one of many examples of persons with disabilities who have been greatly assisted by EBI to live full rewarding lives. We are very grateful to EBI.

I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with East Bay Innovations EBI and my experience was amazing and inspiring. For those unfamiliar AmeriCorps VISTA was founded by JFK to help fight poverty in the United States much like the PeaceCorps serves around the world. EBI is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves individuals with both physical and intellectual disabilities. They strive to help these individuals gain independence in their lives. My role for this inspirational nonprofit as an AmeriCorps member was Development Coordinator I worked to build capacity for this organization over the term of one year. Im extremely fortunate to have worked with some of the most talented and compassionate people in the world They truly are the best
