Introduction

I created Neurotunity for individuals and families who need more than generic therapy after brain injury. As a doctorate-trained speech-language pathologist and certified brain injury specialist with nearly 15 years of experience in medically complex settings, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a large trauma hospital, I bring advanced expertise in complex cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations. Clients choose Neurotunity for highly individualized, evidence-based care, direct access to an expert clinician, and therapy that bridges the gap between medical recovery and real-world life, including school, work, and independence.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Innovative
Compassionate
Thorough
I describe my work as innovative, compassionate, and thorough because brain injury care demands more than standard protocols. Innovation allows me to adapt evidence-based practices to each individual’s medical, cognitive, and life context. Compassion guides how I support patients and families through vulnerable, high-stakes moments, ensuring they feel informed, respected, and empowered. Being thorough means leaving no gap unaddressed—considering medical history, functional goals, caregiver needs, and long-term outcomes. Together, these values shape care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply human.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I best serve children, adolescents, and adults with acquired or complex neurological conditions who require specialized, individualized care. This includes individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, infections, anoxic/hypoxic events, brain tumors, or neurosurgical and critical illness–related injury. My services are particularly well suited for patients with complex cognitive-communication or neurogenic swallowing disorders, and for families navigating transitions from ICU or inpatient rehabilitation to home, school, or work. I work best with those seeking expert guidance, thorough assessment, and therapy that prioritizes real-world function and long-term outcomes.
