A total scam Medicare has never heard of Dr.Randy Medicare did give me names of Acupuncturists to whom they have paid claims. I paid 95 for only a 20-minute session and he said that the 10-minute consultation was my filling out the forms. Previously I was treated twice at this facility by a different acupuncturist and the session was 45 minutes and he gave me after-care instructions. Extremely rude and unfriendly I offered him a bag of home-grown tomatoes and received an abrupt NO. His front office lady accepted them. He demanded my TriCare card even though TriCare does not pay for acupuncture. It was obvious that the front-office girl 17 years old was brand new. Only 2 days there and she is looking for a better job. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review.

Atmosphere is nice location is nice building is nice. Dr. Martin is socially awkward and was condescending to my mother-in-law. Rude to his staff MA and was not a good experience. We will not be going back.

Pros- I felt very relaxed during the acupuncture.- Dr. Randy replies emails really quickly if you have any doubts.- you can tell he really cares about his patients.- Convenient location.- Accepts insurance.- Was able to see me during covid19.Cons- He charged 285 for a 30 min therapy. I think thats expensive. The Insurance covered part and I had to pay 63.75. Consultation was 10 min.- The office in Valencia is super outdated and not nice. Nothing pretty nothing that helps you relax.- The room where he does the therapy is full of things. You dont have space to move and change clothes. No place to hang or put your clothes. It seems it was intented for something else. Its not what I expected specially charging all that money and comparing to the spa and calm feeling you get in other acupuncture places.- the lights are old big fluorescent lights that will kill the relaxation when he turns them back on when you finish.- No herbology.I cant talk about the effectiveness of the therapy because I had only 1 session and I wont go back because of the office and cost.EditI came to edit a few things based on what you said but I see that you put here the email you sent me so here goes my reply tooHiI completely understand. The idea of the review is for people to know what to expect. Lets say I told you and you give me my refund ...that doesnt change the office and the experience the next patient will have. When I chose a place I like reading honest reviews so I give the same to people.I wrote good things about you first so people can decide whats important for them.I understand that what we paid was the deductible but I think charging a hundred and something for 10 minutes is expensive compare to other places but again is not necessarily a bad thing if someone doesnt care about the office. When you say the insurance decides how much I pay regardless of what you charge is not true because if you charged only 1 unit I would have paid 30 dollars. Anyway I think you should charge what you think you deserve for sure.We asked you about herbology and you said you dont do it. Its ok again is just a comment for people to decide.

Ive received acupuncture from Dr Martin a couple of times. I initially went to relieve tennis elbow which has disappeared now but just made another appointment for relaxing.

I really appreciate knowing Dr. Randy Martin. He is old school and is a well established and seasoned acupuncturist and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. I like that he Is available to all patients and accepts most insurances making his services affordable and accessible to my patients. I value him as a trusted colleague.
