Dr. Keri Israelski Scheirman

Dr. Keri Israelski Scheirman is a Licensed Psychologist who has worked with a wide variety of children, families, and adults. Dr. Israelski has always had a special interest in sibling support. She has conducted research on coping processes and their perceived effectiveness in siblings of individuals diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Other evaluation and treatment experiences have included work with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, children with learning and attention difficulties, individuals going through life changes, and individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. She conducts comprehensive educational and psychological assessments with children and young adults with a wide variety of needs. Her therapeutic approach is client centered and strength based. She uses cognitive behavioral techniques, systemic techniques, and has a humanistic, child-centered approach in play therapy.
