Great service from the receptionist to the Doc The coffee shop looks and smells great but I did not order anything from the coffee shop.

Be warned of your GPS -- I had seen the website caution about making sure to put the right city in for directions. My GPS took me up the wrong hill and sent me all over Beckley. I had to call the doctors office to get help to get there.I had waited for several months for an appointment and had driven 45 minutes to get there to find out that my concern is not something they deal with. SighThe offices are beautiful and the staff is super friendly though.

Hi I been getting my Fianc with dementia Information as requested transferred to see dr. Vaught the Neurologist office located in Beckley WV for the past three weeks and gotten the run around. I was asked to have her information sent to his office which I had done from the Neurologist in NC. We have residents in both WV and NC and decided to permanently start to live in WV now and needing dr. Vaught as her doctor. When I called dr. Vaught office last week to check status to get my fianc first appointment I was told dr. Vaught office requested additional information from the doctor in NC. I called in today week later to check status and now Im told something completely different. Im told dr. Vaught office doesnt accept Medicaid from a different state which I already told his office everything is being switched to WV. I told the nurse today we will pay cash or credit card until her Medicare was switched to WV SHE THEN TOLD ME THEY DONT ACCEPT CASH OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS AT HIS PRACTICE AT ALL ONLY HEALTH INSURANCE. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH THING SO ATTENTION ALL CURRENT PATIENCES GOING TO THIS DOCTOR YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PAYING ANY MONEY OWED TO THIS DOCTOR IF YOUR INSURANCE DOESNT COVER THE ENTIRE BILL BECAUSE THEY DONT TAKE CASH NOR CREDIT CARDS.I mentioned to the representative at dr. Vaught office I will go ahead and get Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage so lets Proceeded with the scheduling since it takes awhile and her response was I need to have the insurance coverage in place first. It appears this doctor office has decided not to take my fianc in as a patient for some apparent reason. I am now reaching out to the medical board government agencies and attorneys we know in that area to investigate this matter. THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS

My child has chronic migraines we moved up here from another state we had a appt with Dr vaught over the phone During Covid pandemic it was the first time I ever had to do a phone appt when the Dr entered the roomvirtually I was able to see him he was unable to see me so he 8nformed me he would have someone call me to reschedule the appt but No body ever called me. So for a couple of years we have been trying natural supplements but theyre no longer working Ive been calling for you to try to get her rescheduled and everytime I call they tell me that they havent received a new referral sent over I call them back to reschedule and they tell me that we did too no calls no shows so they cant see us. but that was a lie the first time we did the computer thing but the doctor couldnt see us so he said he would call us back. and then the nurse is going to tell me that they rescheduled her for another date but no one called me to inform me of this new appointment. Now that they finally have a new referral they tell me they wont see her. We did nothing wrong the miscommunication was on there part and they should have informed me that they wouldnt see her they waisted over a year of our lives and now I have to start all over finding my child another neurologist since they wont help her. Despite the Hippocratic oath that he took which vow that the doctors oath say....I will prevent disease whenever I can for prevention is preferable to cure. I will remember that I remain a member of society with special obligations to all my fellow human beings those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.What kind of Dr wont help a sick child smh.

The Drs and staff are amazing kind and helpful and very friendly the office is always spotless would recommend to anyone.

The nursing staff who answers the phones are rude and not helpful. They have power struggle issues talk down to and belittle their patients. They lack patient care training.

I suffered for years with Horrible migraines. When Id sought help from other doctors Id been told that OTC medications were probably as good as anything else. My quality of life was so diminished by the severity and frequency of the migraines and Dr. Vaught was determined to help me and did. I feel as if he has given me my life back I highly recommend him and the his staff...they are all so very nice caring professional helpful

Dr Vaught was the most well educated and thorough doctor I had found for my condition. He actually took time and figured out the problem. But he quit taking my insurance. Thats such a shame in our area there isnt many good doctors and its so hard to find one that will take your insurance.

Dr. Vaught never bothered to look at any of my medical records that I had with me including a current MRI CT scan and the various diseases that I have which have a direct effect on my neurological status. When I attempted to tell Dr. Vaught about all of the motor function deficits that I have been experiencing he interrupted me and commanded in an abrupt manner I will ask the questions you just answer my questions. I never was given the opportunity to tell him about the motor function problems that I am experiencing so his leap to writing down Cataplexy was an inconclusive and indecisive diagnoses. I traveled almost an hour and waited three months for that UNBELIEVABLE. The staff were very kind and efficient. So now it appears that I will need to travel 2 12 hours to CAMC in order to be seen by a Neurologist who is willing to be a Neurologist.

Dr. Vaught and his office staff are very efficient and well organized. Dr. Vaught is both professional and personable. He really took the time to fully explain my husbands condition treatment and prognosis. His expertise is evident and we deeply appreciate his efforts to quickly resolve my husbands issues.
