Dr. Andrew Gillihan, DPT

Dr. Gillihan is a native Idahoan that was born in Boise, Idaho. His family relocated to Tumwater, Washington, in 2002, where he lived for almost ten years before relocating back to Boise to complete his undergraduate degree. Dr. Gillihan holds a B.S. in Kinesiology: Exercise Science with a Psychology Minor from Boise State University. During his undergraduate studies, he became credentialed as a National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist. Deeply interested in communication and psychology, he returned to Boise State University to complete his Master's of Kinesiology Degree focusing on Sports & Exercise Psychology. During his graduate school experience at Boise State, he conducted research for the department on learning with mobile technology, concussion awareness, international physical activity guidelines, and motor learning & autism.
