When I became pregnant I knew I would be bringing my son to see Dr. Brooks. As a doctor myself I want the best and most comprehensive approach for my little one. Dr. Brooks is intuitive and has a passion for helping babies children and families. She is above and beyond proficient when it comes to helping obscure and unique health situations. With her passion for prevention and early intervention I feel she is the most qualified doctor to keep a close eye on my child. Her warm bedside manner and welcoming office environment makes me feel at home. Plus whenever I have questions she and her staff have helped me work through and resolve my concerns. Our beautiful daughter is 4 years old. I started asking our now former primary doctor about some concerns at her 2 year old checkup and they were not validated. Although she is a happy and loving child some things concerned me. For example she had liptongue tie her previous doctor denied this constantly speech delay and scripting certain times a day. By the time we found Dr. Brooks we were at a point of thinking we were out of answers and we were simply overthinking things. With Dr. Brooks guidance we didnt only find answers but were given every possible tool for our daughter to improve and guide her where she needed to be. Not even a month into the treatment we started noticing improvement. Dr. Brooks plan targeted every area in need of reinforcement that would enable us to highlight these improvements.Six months into treatment her speech has blossomed drastically. Shes able to speak in full sentences potty trained and has a calmer demeanor. Arwen now asks questions and can follow 2-3 step directions. Amber Brooks dresses like she has a photoshoot to go to. Every time you see her she will be decked out. She is probably one of the best dressed women I have ever seen. And theres nothing wrong with that However her practice to help everyone is only true if you have all of the money up front. She told us that she wanted 8000 up front in order to see my Autistic son and that we had to comply with EVERYTHING she said and if we didnt she would cancel our services and keep our money. I kept my cool but I felt defeated. She charged us 150 twice just to talk. She gave some advice on what to do which did help so she is good at what she does but to give her any kind of PRAISE she would never get that from us. You have to the full amount up front. We made an appointment weeks ago and sent in all the paperwork needed. We showed up for our appointment and Dr. Brooks was on the phone for several minutes knowing we were in the waiting area. I heard her be rude and condescending to the patient she was talking to with the door wide open which made me a little nervous. After finally getting off the phone she came in to ask what we needed. I told her we were here for a new patient appointment and she was INCREDIBLY rude She checked her schedule and supposedly e mailed us that our appointment was rescheduled because she didnt get some of the paperwork. Which is completely untrue. I never got a call or e mail or anything. I set up childcare arrangements and cleared our schedule so we could be here. She couldnt have cared less. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. For someone who treats people so poorly I would NEVER want them treating my child. Please save yourself the headache and time and go to someone who seems to care. Ridiculous

Dr. Brooks started working with our daughter after her 73 days in the NICU due to a birth defect congenital diaphragmatic hernia that required two surgeries and an extended hospital stay out of state. Our daughter was underweight had severe reflux and could not spend time on her tummy because it hurt her so bad. After just two weeks after seeing Dr. Brooks our baby actually enjoyed being on her tummy. We slowly changed her formula to something that was easier on her tummy and she is thriving. She is hitting all of her developmental milestones and is the happiest baby We love catching up with Dr. Brooks at our daughters visits. She is a part of our family and a crucial member of our team in caring for our daughter. Her approach is unlike any doctor and we are so thankful for herPatricia her office staff is also such a valuable member of the team as well. She knows first hand what it is like to raise a medically complex child and that is so important

I had no where to turn when my almost 5 year old son was just not talking and no other dr gave me a reason why no autism diagnosis just sent home with a he will talk eventually. I was desperate for answers. I stumbled upon an article Dr. Brooks wrote and was able to look her up I had an appointment within two weeks. Within a month with Dr. Brooks my son was speaking 30 new words. My son is now 6 almost 7 and he is a completely different person. He has whole conversations in the back seat he is very expressive of what he wants likes dislikes his very own personality. I cannot be more grateful to Dr. Brooks for all the care and love she shows my son and how much she cares about his issues she is now his full time Dr. She is amazing at what she does.

Dr. Brooks has been an answer to prayer for our son with her treatments and recommendations on supplementsdiet changes he has greatly improved and is once again the happy boy we love to see Skin issues are gone and tics are under control without medicating hes doing great in school and is dry at night consistently now. So thankful we found her

My wife found Dr. Brooks online and traveled from Houston to Dallas to meet her sometimes in 2017. I was initially skeptical but you cannot fight results. Our son has experience phenomenal improvement since and we believe God has used her to assist us understand the journey better. It is a process but we are glad we are no longer where we were before meeting her.

Dr. Brooks is amazing I love how she comes from a caring place and gets straigt to business There is never a wait which I love but most importantly seeing a difference in my child
