Dr. Woods is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of individuals with psychiatric disorders or adjustment difficulties that cause problems with feelings, thinking and behavior. She assists parents and families in understanding the development, behavior, emotions or mental disorders that affect their child or adolescent. Her treatment philosophy is a comprehensive multi-modal approach emphasizing the integration of medication, psychotherapy, behavior management, parent guidance and education as well as collaboration with other significant caregivers, teachers, physicians, and social or community agencies. Treatment areas of expertise and focus are: ADHD, Mood Disorders including depression and bipolar disorders, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Asperger’s, Adjustment Disorders, Parent-Child Conflicts, Stress Management and Disruptive Behavior Disorders.
