They where absolutely amazing when taking care of my son. They ruled out every worst case they could with my son. They also had doctors that explained the diagnosis to u and where so professional. The panda team was absolutely amazing and called the issue before we even where transported to Portland. I never trust my kids with people but I absolutely trust them 100. Thank u to the Niku Pand and the staff on the 9th floor for helping my premi newborn u guys are absolutely amazing as well as the Ronald McDonald house for giving my kids and family a place close to the hospital so I could see them

Referral was sent to their hematology department for my son over 6 weeks ago and still no call to schedule an appointment. I call every week and each week they say the doctors are still reviewing and I will get right back to you. And nothing

I was a patient there for several months my doctors were amazing. As an adult I thank them for my life and all they did for me not only did they help me recover for over 6 months but they were there for me the wheel chair races we had to the holding my had during difficult procedures. Im almost 60 and remember my doctors like it was yesterday. Thank you for what you have done for me and all the others after me. I couldnt have imagined being at a better hospital in my time of need.

Amazing staff. My son was transferred from kizer to OHSU Doernbecher because his blood oxygen levels were very low 84-87. They made him feel safe and found ways to explain the procedures to a very scared 6 year old. He was treated for pneumonia. This hospital is waaaaayyyy better daddy - My 6 year old.

Its not like you have a ton of choices if you have a critically ill child. Just know that the pediatric oncology team is simply amazing and should you also have to face this in life you are in good hands here.I will say this though. The experience in the ED was pretty traumatic. The resident physician in the ED pulled me aside and told me that I needed to explain to my child that he had cancer. And let me know if you need some help with that. I stood there in the hallway stunned and she walked away. I never saw her again I had to do it on my own and that sucked. The two of us sat alone in the ED bad news room for 3 hours just contemplating what the ED physician has said before oncology finally showed up and gave us some next steps. From there everything went really smoothly but that first experience could have been a lot better.

My son is disabled and we are frequent flyers here. For the last 5 years this hospital has supported me as a single parent in the hardest journey of my life. Couldnt do this without them.

This hospital saved my life. Like actually. Because of severe medical complications that occurred from my eating disorder I was admitted to 9north. I cannot speak higher of this place. The nurses CNAs and doctors actually were the kindest most understanding clinicians Ive worked with Ive worked with a lot. Thanks to them I am off to college next week able to help myself and truly wanting to live a healthier life for myself. Thank you 9 north. I didnt realize I could be helped and you proved me wrong. A special shout-out to Liz the nurse and both Dr. Sells and Dr. Jacobs.

We were sent to Doernbecher when my daughter needed her appendix out. Everyone was knowledgeable helpful and great with children. They helped alleviate her fear and explain things in a way she could understand. Her nurse deserves a crown his bedside manner was amazing. Her surgery went well and she recovered quickly. The best outcome in a bad situation. I dont have enough good things to say.
