Ellie has done wonders for my aunt on her first visit she cringed with just the smallest sip of water and now shes doing forceful swallows without any problems. Over the past few years my naturally extroverted 92-year-old mother became withdrawn and unable to speak clearly or loudly. She stopped wanting to go out to eat with friends because she tended to choke while swallowing. Her ability to recall names and recent events was getting more sporadic. I have been seeing Ellie 4 times a week for 3 months for breathing and swallowing therapy as well as speech therapy. She certainly is a dedicated gifted highly skilled and experienced professional. However she is much more than that - she is an extraordinary person who radiates positivity and provides incredible emotional support. Ellie Eric are so kind You can tell they truly care for their patients My Brother has a traumatic brain injury which has led to him needing a feeding tube. Ellie works with him each week to help him accomplish his goals of getting rid of his feeding tube and getting back to eating by mouth He has come so far since we have met Ellie and we appreciate everything she has done and continues to do with himI would highly recommend Ellie to anyone in need of her treatments She is amazing

Ellie is so much more than a speech and swallowing therapist. My wife has been seeing her for cognitive issues for the past year and the bond she has developed with Ellie has been so helpful in determining whats going on and how to push back against it. Ellie is intelligent kind sensitive and possessed of a great spirit that lifts-up everyone around her. We came for therapy and found dear friends in Ellie and Eric.

First I would like to say that I have had the pleasure yes of requiring SLP services for both my mother and myself. On both occasions we were blessed to have had the opportunities to work with Ellie Zamora SLP. In 2005 my mother was diagnosed with ALS after she began exhibiting speech and swallowing difficulties. At first it was thought that perhaps she had had a stroke. Ellie began working with my mom and when she did not show signs of improvement Ellie recommended that we consult a neurologist. Ellie was instrumental in getting a diagnosis for my mom Recently I began having swallowing problems myself. So of course I immediately thought of Ellie and contacted her to explain my symptoms. Very shortly after that we began evaluation and treatment of my swallowing problems. Things have improved remarkably and in a relatively short time. Ellie is one of the most compassionate health care providers I have ever met or worked with I am a retired RN. I was diagnosed with dysphasia following a swallow test but was not referred for therapy. I told my doctor that I needed help with my swallowing and coughing problems.My doctors case worker recommended Divine Speech based on a number of outstanding reviews she had received.It was clear on being tested that I was losing ground so Ellie went into action.Her care was not only expert but gentle and compassionate. We worked on speech and swallowing over a number of weeks during which time Ellie treated or recommended treatment in other areasas well to address weaknesses that contributed to my problems. I was impressed by her broad knowledge and her common sense approach to wholistic care. I have made significant progress and continue some of the exercises on my own. I am grateful for the privilege of being a patient of Ellie and Eric the support who enables it all work smoothly. I miss the productive and fun my time with them.
