Dr. Smoller is exceptionally kind compassionate and thorough. She made both myself and my child feel completely at ease throughout our evaluation process and is always proactive responsive and accessible as we continue care with her. She genuinely cares about each of her patients as if they were her own child and uses her huge heart well trained mind and years of experience to give your family the highest level of care.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Developmental Pediatrics of Central Jersey. I have had awful experiences with developmental pediatricians over the years and finally discovered Dr. Alison Smoller. She is not like ANY of the others She is truly one of a kind. Not only do I ADORE her but my 2 daughters do as well and that says a lot because they do not like any doctor lol. She treats my daughters as if they were her own and is so motherlyloving. We are always going to different doctorsspecialists and the tantrums start immediately but when we go to DPCJ it is a completely different experience. My girls look forward to going to play. Not only is Dr. Smoller the smartest doctor I know but she is the most caring and compassionate woman you will ever meet. Every visit she is on the floor playing with my girls and they just have the best time with her. Every kid should have this experience. I just wish I found her sooner It is not easy being a single Mom of two special needs little girls but knowing that I have Dr. Smoller by my side makes me feel so much better. She is always just a phone call or email away. She is incredibly special to my family I am also a teacher and have so much respect for her because she is always trying to better herself by attending various workshopsconventions and sharing everything she learns with her families. Thats why she stands out from all the others. She CARES Lastly I also have to mention what a pleasure it is to deal with her office. Her assistant Maura is so friendly and welcoming and goes above and beyond for their patients. The second you walk in the office you are greeted so warmly and the same goes for your phone calls. She is extremely responsive if you have any questionsconcerns via email as well and will make sure she gets you what you need. They are a great team I will never bring my girls anywhere else and once you go here you wont either

I am a special educator with 15 years experience however when my own son started to demonstrate a need for a diagnosis and services I had no idea what to do. I was frozen with concern unsure of where to turn first. Do I trust my local school district to evaluate or do I go to a doctor How do I begin What is the right thing to do I called Dr. Smoller. At the time we were still dealing with the aftermath of Covid and the wait to see a developmental pediatrician was very long. They promised that if a cancellation happened they would call me. This was when I met Maura who manages the office more efficiently than I have ever experienced from any doctors office ever literally ever . True to their word a cancelled happened and my son was seen quickly. We have been in Developmental Pediatrics care for three years we see Morgan now who is amazing like Dr.Smoller. Every time I have a question Morgans email response is quick their appointments are thorough and never rushed. I feel heard as a mom and my child is a person not a statistic not just a diagnosis. I can not recommend this practice more the care the staff- absolutely exceptional humans and professionals.

Dr. Smoller has changed our lives. We have been with her for 7 years and we will never see anyone else. Her expertise is unparalleled. She is the best listener and she takes her time with you and your child at every appointment. You are never rushed and she is incredibly knowledgable. She simply gets it - she hears you and helps to solve your problems. Its never one size fits all - its what YOU need. She has unfailing made the right decisions for us with diagnoses meds with school and with therapies. Life. Changing.

Dr. Smoller and her team have been life changing for my children. After having an evaluation and denial from the school Allison evaluated my son and her report was a driving force in getting him the assistance he needed. Five years later there continuous and thoughtful care has opened his world into a fully integrated version of normalcy that I could only dream of for him. These dedicated team never stops fighting for their patients and we are so thankful for their support and expertise.

Dr. Smoller is fantastic in every way. She is so compassionate and understanding with both children and parents. She patiently listens to all of your concerns and addresses them with a level of expertise and personal touch that is hard to find in a doctor of any kind. I would highly recommend her.

My son who has Autism and a Chromosomal deletion had been a patient of Dr Smollers for years. She is warm and compassionate and cares deeply for her patients. I highly recommend the practice

After seeing several doctors and specialists we found Dr Smoller to be the most knowledgeable compassionate and kind in diagnosing our son. She has a special way connecting with children when describing the diagnosis and has not only helped us to better understand what our son is going through but also how to help him.
