Darcy Kelley, MA, CCC-SP, MA

Darcy Kelley is the owner and founder of Pathways to Communication and has over twenty years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP). She began her journey helping children in special education and eventually found her passion in speech and language therapy. She has helped children of all ages in many settings, including preschool, elementary and high schools, multidisciplinary centers, private multidisciplinary clinics, and private practice. With her goal of treating the child as a whole, Darcy has continued her education in order to provide a holistic approach to therapy for her clients. Her studies and training have been vast. Because of her commitment, Darcy has and continues to earn multiple Awards for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Darcy’s expertise includes such specialized areas as: PROMPT training; pediatric neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT); Advanced Training in Integrated Listening Systems (iLs); speech and language disorders including dyspraxia, feeding and oral motor skills, autism and sensory processing disorders; and life planning for special needs persons. Darcy has taught in special needs preschool classrooms in neurodevelopmental centers, worked on curriculum development in the public school system and worked on research projects at the Experimental Education Unit at the University of Washington. These experiences have enhanced her ability to evaluate the whole child and work closely with families and teams.
