Crossroads Speech and Occupational Therapy - Glenview

We could not be happier to have landed with Crossroads We met Katie in her Toddler class and I always knew she would be a tremendous resource down the line if needed and here we are Our 2 year old daughter started OT just a few weeks ago and we cannot believe how many changes we are seeing already. Both Stephanie and Charlotte have been wonderful. They have both made it an easy and fun transition for our daughter but also for us We are learning so much about our girl and what she needs we couldnt be more grateful

Ellie with Crossroads has been amazing with our son Will and I could not recommend her enough. We worked with Ellie for over a year to help Will with his speech delay. He was born in April of 2020 and like a lot of kids born at that time was having trouble forming words. Ellie came to our home once a week and made all the difference. Over the year William learned countless new words and has now exceeded expected language skills for his age. We were able to move on to more advanced skills longer sentences enunciating etc all thanks to Ellie. She has even helped with behavioral issues that came with getting a baby brother Will grew to love Ellie and every session greeted her with a big hug and smile. She is amazingly friendly helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. Additionally scheduling and billing has been a breeze and Im thankful everyday that I found Crossroads. 5 stars across the board. Our son just graduated out of speech therapy this past week. He turned 2 this year and we had zero words when therapy started. 6 months later he is talking in full sentences using correct tenses pluralizing and his vocabulary just continues to grow. Honestly its amazing.We worked with Atur and she was just a very knowledgeable and warm-hearted person. Our son loved the sessions they had every week in our home and was always excited to see her. Well miss it but the fact that our son improved so quickly and drastically is a testament to the wonderful job that they do.

From the very start we knew we were in good hands. All of the staff we worked with were a great help especially Atur the therapist that came by every week to help our boy learn and improve. It was truly a highlight of his week to have that time with her to learn and play. While we are sad to have graduated with the program we are delighted with the results which is our child being that much more communicative and confident in his speech with us and others.

We started with Janice at Crossroads this fall and it has been great Janice is great with my daughter and has made all the sessions fun and my daughter has learned a lot Highly recommend Crossroads

Our son received services after being referred through the Early Intervention program. He was matched with his occupational therapist Andria who was an absolute dream to work with. She was flexible accommodating and treated us with empathy. Her communication was excellent. In her therapeutic approach Andria was patient and thorough. She went above and beyond connecting us with additional tools and resources to support our child. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Andria.

Andria Smith from Crossroads is our daughters OT since March of 2023. Shes phenomenal She understands our daughters needs and the areas she needs help in. She plans her time with our daughter to focus on her areas of need. She brings activities that allow our daughter to work on her dysregulation through focus concentration and attention. She uses an array of modalities to help our daughter grow and learn. Andria is always sweet kind and thoughtful. She always arrives on time with a smile. Our daughter and us adore Andria and were so grateful for all the amazing work and progress shes helped our daughter with. We have watched our daughter progress in ways we didnt think possible in such a short amount of time due to the dedication and effort of her EI therapists.

We had a great experience here My son was seen by Kaitlin for Occupational Therapy for around 6 months up until his 3rd birthday. He was immediately comfortable working with her and both of us were sad when we had to transition out of EI because she was such a gem to work with. With her help he was able to increase his attention refine fine motor navigate transitions from one activity to another even help us begin to tackle potty training amongst many other great improvements. As we transition from EI we are empowered because of Kaitlins knowledge and friendly guidance. Thank you Kaitlin You made a big difference in my sons life.

We were incredibly pleased with our experience working with Katie M. Our daughter took to her quickly talked about seeing her again all week Katie bubbles and grew leaps and bounds in a matter of weeks. We also worked with Sarri for a short while and loved her style as well but had to switch for logistical reasons. Since her days at Crossroads our daughter has been complimented repeatedly at the pediatricians office and daycare for her advanced language skills. Finally we were ecstatic that the sessions were fully covered by our Aetna insurance no copay We highly recommend Crossroads without reservation.

Such a wonderful experience for my son myself and my husband. Our son has been worked with Sara Ellie and Lauren for speech and occupational therapy. They are kind supportive and very helpful. My son is confident with speaking his mind and regulates himself confidently because of these wonderful ladies Katherine runs such a fantastic program helping so many kiddos and families Keep doing what you ladies do best
