Seeking mental health specialists is not always easy. Fortunately for us Stephanie W. was recommended to us. Since then we have seen Dr. C and Tiffany also. We have been very happy with their care and knowledge and getting our child in a good place. Jason and all the office staff are also helpful and pleasant when calling in or coming in.

Jason was amazing he really helped me when it came to needed my medicine fast because of insurance issues and I was really worried about missing a dose.. I have gone here for almost 3 years now and only see Dr. C and have never had a problem. I live in Dallas now and still use them

Heed my warning The Doctor provided mediocre services. Nothing spectacular nothing helpful. The front office told me that my insurance was in network. I had to pay a copay. Then I received a bill in the mail for an additional 112.00. So in total my bill was 200.00 for one visit. They over charge. Their services arent worth what you pay. I am not joking. A video on YouTube would help you more than their doctor would.

For the past five years Ive debated on writing this review but I am now opening up to hopefully prevent something like this happening to someone else. I started seeing Carrie when I was 14 years old for anxiety and household problems. I saw her for a couple of weeks and she always had different techniques to help me relieve my anxiety and problems. One of her methods was to imagine a box and put all my worries in that box and pack it away. As I look back on this idea of hers I realize that its an extremely detrimental method because ignoring your issues will only suppress them and cause an explosion of emotions. This method wasnt the issue though after trying endless ways to relieve my anxiety I told her that this box method wasnt working. Carrie got very mad and asked why I was even there if I wasnt going to try to put effort into her methods. I always tried my hardest to follow her different methods and do as she said after all who wants to suffer from a mental illness After she teared me down and made me the one to blame she said I usually dont believe in prescribing children medicine but you are the perfect candidate since youre not trying. She had no empathy for me which resulted in her wanting me to take the easy way out and get prescribed medicine instead of helping me through my problems. Once I left that session I explained to my mom what happened and we never stepped foot in that building again. Imagine yelling at a 14 year old who is insecure and extremely anxious. I wish I could say that she is in my past but I am now 19 and havent been able to step foot in another therapists office because of the trauma she has caused me.

We had our son go here because it was the only place around that took our military insurance. After a few visits the counselor seemed to be dismissive and unhelpful. We would be charged for no-shows when we were sick with COVID and then after being denied a virtual visit one week because the counselor said it would not be beneficial the counselor called the next week and asked to make it virtual for their own reasons. Very inconsistent the counselor did not seem genuine and I am STILL getting bills for things I paid for in January. Cant even pay online to be done with it. Getting this bill is the last straw with this place and the reason I am writing a review.

Excellent service today when speaking with Jason to set up multiple appointments. He was kind and helpful even e-mailed me the appointment dates and times Thanks Jason I appreciate you you made this experience virtually painless.

Warning that they will ask for your credit card number and charge you 125 for missed appointments even if you have a good reason for missing them such as a head injury that week and have never missed appointment without canceling. Where is the compassion and from a mental health provider. And I did speak to the Dr. C about my situation. The credit card was not on file for my convenience. It was required for service.

Today is October 21 2023 my last appointment was September 14th. Dr. Elise Griffin has been negligent in submitting my refill since that appointment ever after 20 emails and 5 calls to the office. Its ridiculousAvoid this place unless you want to be put on medication then left to deal with the side effects of just never getting another refill.

I dont know what the therapists are like because I couldnt get through the front door. Absolutely worst front office staff. Didnt write down or document information properly called me and left voicemails with info for different patients didnt actually put in my appointment and seemingly had no knowledge of my name when I called to inquire. If anyone is in a desperate situation and need help urgently or smoothly this is not the place for you.

I have no doubt the counselors and therapist are great. However I could never make it past the front desk to verify. Twice I had scheduled appointments and came in 10 minutes before my appointment time. The receptionist told me that I had already missed my appointment even though I showed the text to confirm my times.Again I am sure they are a great practice but when I am trying to manage my mental health I dont have time to continue to have issues with the place I am trying to get help from.UPDATE CCA thank you for your response however had you read my concern you would have seen I arrived 10 EARLY not 10 minutes late.I also am in healthcare and it is not a violation for a patient to be late not the case in this complaint.It typically is office policy but definitely not with insurance.
