Counseling Connections - Vernon Hills

Our team of licensed psychologists, counselors and social workers have a wide and extensive variety of therapeutic approaches. Sessions can be conducted individually, as couples as families or a combination depending on the current concern. We serve children, adolescents, adults and geriatric populations. We provide treatment for a variety of issues include anxiety, ADHD/ADD, attachment, chronic or acute medical conditions, adoption/foster care, survivors of domestic violence, PTSD, mood disorders, grief, trauma, behavioral issues and developmental issues. Our therapies include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Family Systems Theory, Art Therapy and Play Therapy. The members of the practice collaborate as a team when multiple family members are attending therapy or seeing one of our psychiatrists.
