For over twenty-five years I have been a social worker, parent educator and consultant/coach to parents. I am the author of AUTISM PARENTING: Practical Strategies for a Positive School Experience - Over 300 tips for parents to enhance their child's school success. I love guiding frustrated, lost and confused parents to achieve their parenting hopes and dreams with my diverse skills. My passion is supporting parents of young children who suspect their child may have a developmental disorder or have a child who has been recently diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Having struggled as a parent myself my mission is to alleviate and prevent challenging situations that today's parents face. Whether it's helping parents adjust to a diagnosis of autism or another type of family upheaval, I save parents valuable time, energy and effort in adjusting to or resolving the issue. I offer direct consultation and coaching to those who desire to transform their situation by uncovering abilities in order to change possibilities.
