Comprehensive MedPsych Systems - St. Augustine 210/NW

I am new to the area attempting to establish mental health care. I have called daily for 2 weeks to sit on hold for 1hr each time. I fill out forms spoken about on the automated line they have. Nobody ever calls back. Not many options for mental health care in the area as I am desperate and receive no response.

Id give ZERO stars if I could this is the most terrible place I have EVER experienced when wanting to get help for myself. The drs I had dr nougueras and Angela priester gave me completely uncomfortable vibes. Dr nougueras psychiatrists treated me as if I were drug seeking she also wanted to give me a medication that harmskills fetusesrhe firat med ahe ga e me via telhealth i had sever reaction too so she treated me like an addict. Ive never touch anything drug related in My life . Instead of give me something that may help with anxiety and depression.i told her I have bad anxietyhave for years due to life events the forat thing she said before ANYTHING came out my mouth was im NOT giving you benzos meanwhile Ive had some and hated most. she refused to listen. Tried to tell me who I am Instead of ask how I feel. About Dr Angela priestess ...I tried to get in contact with the office to ask about a meeting ID which I was suppose to already have prior to app ive been waiting 2 months for she assumed I didnt answer a call and claimed she tried to leave messagesVMs when I was waiting for the call since 1100. I called backfinally after 2 attempts and 2 messages she calls back and tried to assume and blame me for missing the app time. Instead of getting to the pointshe just wanted to argue with me Proceeded to tell me wellthis is lunchbreakbut Ill talk if needed so by that time after 2 psychology drs I gave up. Regardless this program MED PSYCH SYSTEM is garbage . This was the worst experience Ive ever had with drs in FL. They automatically assume your drug seeking or they have attitudes that are unprofessional and unacceptable. Angela tried to ask if I wanted to re-schedule but I straight told her at this point with pretty much the experience and way Ive been talked to I prefer to deal with it on my ownalthough suicidal bc it hurt to not have ANYONE. No family no family etc and be treated this way. I 2010 dont reccomend this program med psych system

I wish Dr. Martinez never changed. Until recently I really liked working with Dr. Martinezs office. They are now with Comprehensive Med Psych Systems and have changed drastically.It doesnt have a personalized feel anymore. I feel like a number. I have a very hard time getting a call back for anything if I can even get past their phone tree.Another doc that is working with this office has been rude to my mom and is not reading the reports from testing that she had sent for.Although I like who I am working with I cant continue working with the company. They were much better before the change.

Dr. Caceres literally saved my life Before I was her patient I had just been baker-acted had an undiagnosed major depressive disorder and was failing out...

I have always received exceptional care from the 2 psychiatrists Ive seen over the past 2 or 3 years at this facility. I switched from Dr. Caceras to Dr. Henschke shortly after she was added to the practice because the location was more convenient and I have no complaints. Every nurse Ive spoken to even with frustrating situations has been kind and efficient. The receptionist Audra is always unbelievably sweet composed and supportive.

Jacqueline Henschke is unprofessional uncaring and unable to engage in an intellectual dialog. When I was politely assertive with her about a particular issue and questioned her line of thinking it appeared to me she became uncomfortable that I was challenging her logic. In the end I respectfully accepted her decision although I did not agree with it.Today 9.14.2020 I received a certified letter from her stating she terminated me as a patient effective the date of the letter which was 9.6.2020. I do not know when her office mailed the letter but a few days delay was because I had to sign a slip for my mail carrier to leave it in my mailbox.People with a mental diagnosis - just as those with a physical diagnosis - have a right to ask questions and dialog and not just quietly and blindly accept a physicians opinion. In hindsight my interaction with Henschke suggests she lacks the skills to be a competent psychiatrist.If you are searching for a psychiatrist my advice is to avoid Henschke. Every time I went there the psychiatrist that I saw had left. They dont keep a psychiatrist for more than a few months except for one lady that finally left. Dr. cacares was wonderful but she finally left.I did see a wonderful therapist.there Justin. He was very understanding and great at his job.They refused to see me and my son anymore because I made a valid complaint to the receptionist. A new psychiatrist refused to give my son a medication that he had been taking for over 10 years that had been prescribed to him from the one psychiatrist that stayed there and finally left and no longer accepted his insurance.They are always right and do not understand that people come there for helpWe have mental issues and they should understand instead of firing us and telling us we are no longer welcome thereThey are truly awful and not concerned about there patients.I would have given them zero stars but they wouldnt allow that.

Dr. Caceres is great but her medical assistant doesnt care at all. Im an established patient that recently left the area. Ive been diligently searching for another provider closer to where I am but needed more immediate help. I called searching for help and in response the Medical Assistant told me that since I hadnt been seen there in two months I need to find another provider outside the system. I felt abandoned by the office and my needs were completely ignored. This isnt the first time the Medical Assistant has been rude to me with no compassion but it will be the last.

I had three faxes sent from my pharmacy for a refill on antidepressant and anxiety medication all were ignored. I called to ask about it and was told that they do not accept faxes from pharmacies and I will need to leave a message on their answering machine to get my prescription refilled. I did this and waited 72 hours for my refill. Still no refill. I have been more than a week without my medication. Its not healthy to stop medication cold turkey. Especially since I have been taking these medications for 5 years now.Their receptionist is friendly though. Thats a plus for the place.

The doctor herself was fine and they seemed nice the first time I came but do not ever expect them to answer their phones. I called this office after they canceled my appointment to make new appt. And I have yet to get them on the phone. I have called over 8 times 4 of which I left a message 1 I got a called back but they called later in the day and I was trying to get my newborn to nap so I called back ten min later no answer again. They need to fire every single one of their office workers. Apparently they do not know how to do their job.

Awful. Have left 3 messages to try to make an appointment nobody has ever called me back. Office staff rarely answers the phone and when they do theyll tell you the reason they dont call back is an excuse about Comcast. Ridiculous. I would imagine that most people calling a Psych doctor need help rather quickly and arent in a position to wait several days just to schedule an appt. If you need immediate help dont bother calling this place.
