Communication Is The Key LLC

My son has been working with Communication is The Key since January of 2022 and the difference in his level of confidence was evident within the first month of service. A child who was extremely nervous due to articulation issues a deficit in vocabulary and a slow word retrieval response did so well on an interview that he landed a spot with the University of Chicago as a Collegiate Scholar. His speech therapist helped him with interviewing skills while simultaneously encouraging him to take risks and put his fears behind him. Consequently Christopher has become a lot more social and is finally living the life a teenager should be living hanging out with friends attending concerts and going to the movies. The help he has received is also evident in school. Christophers teachers were all pleasantly surprised to see his level of participation take a dramatic rise in the right direction but no one is more pleased with Communication is The Key than me. Some of my concerns and fears for Christopher have been eased as I get to witness first hand how his speech and communication skills are evolving. Ms.Lachone is an amazing speech therapist. When my daughter arrived she was two and barely speaking. I was nervous but she reassured me that everything would be fine and it absolutely was Ive watched my daughter exceed in her speech so well its almost unbelievable and My daughter and her have such a good bond. Ms.Lachone is amazing with kids. I wish I can give her 100 stars. If you are ever looking for a speech therapist she is the perfect person for the job. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Ms. Pitchford skills greatly helped my child increase her language skills. We used the early intervention services for a year and saw a bit of an improvement. However her language has really increased since weve found Ms. Pitchford. She truly cares for the children she serves and it shows in her work.
