My twin sons started martial arts over 2 years ago with Coffrins ATA Martial Arts program. They are so disciplined confident and respectful. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat. The staff are like our second family. We are so proud to be apart of such a great program. Thank you all for being great leaders and for making our experience such a pleasant one.

Where do I start I enrolled my daughter into their Taekwondo program. We were pleasantly surprised with MR. Baker. HE is the star of this review. He has bonded with my daughter and they fed off each other well. Always smiles giggles and also seriousness. My daughter had every goal of getting her black belt. I am profoundly deaf bilaterally 190dbls is my level of deafness plus I use wheelchair on occassion. Ata has disabled parking but no ramp. A big no no. I use their chat feature to communicate I asked the 1st question how often is your dojo cleaned No response then I saw more red flags the level of bullying on the Dojo floor is sickening. Mr Coffrins anti bullying program is doing wonders dont you see No. My daughter was hit in the head with board when she looked up the boy smirked. It was intentional. I informed ata through chat feature yes Ive stood in lobby at desk waiting to talk to them but constantly ignored. 2 months go by still no response until I threw out the word ADA. Mrs Coffrins head snapped back so hard and she instantly replied. My daughter was bullied by another girl as well I stopped that fast by asking her to stop calling my daughter a loser and making fun of how she drops to knee. She was also bullied by the same boy for the second time. Mr. Baker talked with my husband. The boy is known for bullying. But yet nobody does anything about it. At graduation the bully got commended for a one time instance of helping my daughter. Coffrin turned for a photo with him. But not anyone else. I stood waiting for him to turn around and he didnt. I stood up on chair and was still ignored. That affected me badly. Mr Coffrin came to me during oath its noisy I said 4 times I am deaf I cannot understand you. He still kept talking. I finally yelled to compensate the loud oath noise and boy he took offense. Um theres nobody more deaf than a man who wont listen. If she says shes deaf dont make yourself look stupid trying to do sign which reminded my mind to go in gutter. Sir stop. Please. If I cannot understand you I never will in a noisy room He waved his hand to sweep me away to this day he still blames me for yelling at him on the 4th time. Even when I explained The dojo is filthy we always got sick from there every other week. I took pictures of dust bunnies and chat to prove a point. Its still there in the same spot. If you dont believe me wipe your finger on the floor look under the chairs. Its disgusting and the restrooms. Mr Baker is the star here I cannot commend him enough. I asked Mr Coffrin how my daughter was doing is there any strengths or weaknesses that need work He said one word. Great. Because he had no inkling of her progress. So Mr Baker if he ever got his own Dojo my daughter would be his first student. He has an amazing way with children. Mr Coffrin would cut him off a lot and its rude.Mr coffrin informed my daughter that she could not wear her headbands I lovingly make to match belts. She has been wearing them since day one. What a cheap shot at me through my child. They use the kids to market their business and get new kids in. The classes are so congested kids have no space to move plus the bags are a hazard. They are also a belt mill. They will hand out belts to anyone who pays 48 a head. A McDojo. I am very excited for my daughter to soar to black belt AWAY from ATA.People come for Mr Baker NOT the Coffrins.Mr Baker thank you for being a mentor to my daughter she will always remember you. Mr Coffrin shadily canceled membership. Blocked us on facebook. Nothing to hide sir We agreed on 8th for payment. Mr baker trusted us. You cannot use this as an excuse to cancel membership. And to do this 1 day before my daughters birthday. Wonderful human being.THE BEST mcDojo in townThe ramp he is referring to is far away from disabled parking.Anyone who knows ADA laws will understand why ramp is no no.

Can not say enough great things about Coffrins ATA. Such a great place with amazing instructors and staff. We have been there for five years and never had a bad experience. They make it a point to build confidence without sacrificing lessons in personal responsibility. I probably could name all the great instructors they boys have had over the years. But I have never had one single time where I questioned what they were doing. Master and Mrs Coffrin are amazing people who are passionate about what they do and it clearly shows

The instructors are absolutely wonderful with the kids. We started our kiddo after trial and she has taken highly to all of the teachings they have to offer. They teach kids to learn self control while learning self defense and focus heavily on respect to self and others. I would highly recommend Coffrins ATA as the kids have fun and the instructors make it worth their while.

My son has been a part of Coffrins ATA for just over a year and the growth he has shown is remarkable. In addition to the physical conditioning and training associated with Taekwondo he is learning leadership responsibility self-respect loyalty courtesy and accountability all central messages of the organization. Master and Mrs. Coffrin Mr. Baker and the rest of the staff are perfect role models for the students and teach with genuine compassion for all. I know well be a part of the ATA family for a long time

Weve had the most amazing experience at Coffrins ATA Martial Arts The instructors have been incredible with our 3 year old son who is usually very nervous when trying new things. Our son has had multiple tough moments getting scared or getting a boo-boo during an exercise and crying. All the instructors at Coffrins have taken it with stride allowed him to take a moment to compose himself and then gone above and beyond to encourage him to get back out there and try again. It has helped him gain confidence in his own abilities and seeing him beam with pride when he accomplishes something new is so rewarding as a parent We would highly recommend Coffrins to any parent looking for a program to help their child gain confidence self-control and a more positive and respectful attitude

We adore coming to Coffrins ATA Since starting the classes my sons attitude and discipline has gotten so much better. They provide great role models for the type of person I want my son to become. He has been a part of the camps and remote learning for years but watching him grow with his evening classes has been awesome. I love watching him practice at home and go into his classes being sure of himself. The Coffrins themselves are amazing people and run an amazing business. They answer any questions are encouraging fun and are loving. They also hire great employees. My son seems more social and becoming the leader I always knew he could be. The coaches are great with learning how to deal with all the kids and they can create an experience personalized for them. I know when my son just needs someone to talk to Coach Nick will sit down and just let him talk and coach him through his emotions. My son really get the use of the positive male role models that Coffrins supplies
