Introduction

Hi, I’m Claire, a pediatric speech-language pathologist and feeding therapist serving families in Pacifica and the surrounding Bay Area. I work with children from birth through young adulthood (0–21) and use a play-based, strengths-focused approach to therapy. My areas of expertise include early intervention, feeding therapy, and parent coaching. I’m passionate about empowering families and helping caregivers feel confident supporting their child’s development in everyday routines. In sessions, I love incorporating each child’s interests and following their lead to create meaningful, engaging learning opportunities.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Patient
Collaborative
Committed
Patience is essential in my work because every child develops at their own pace, and I believe progress happens best when children feel supported and unhurried. I’m collaborative because I view therapy as a partnership with families, as parents and caregivers are key members of the team. Finally, I’m deeply committed to the children and families I work with, and I strive to provide thoughtful, individualized care that builds on each child’s strengths.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I’m best positioned to support infants, toddlers, and children who benefit from early intervention, feeding therapy, and parent coaching. I work well with families who want to be actively involved and appreciate learning practical strategies they can use during everyday routines like playtime and mealtimes. My approach is play-based and strengths-focused, and I prioritize incorporating a child’s interests while following their lead. I especially enjoy partnering with caregivers to build confidence and create supportive environments that help children develop skills in ways that feel natural and meaningful within their daily lives.

    Beaming Review

Claire is such a wonderful speech therapist. She is so calm and patient which creates a really strong learning environment for the children she works with. She does an amazing job at establishing positive relationships with the families she works with and making sure they are engaged and involved in their child's care. I highly recommend working with her!
