About CIS - San Diego Office
Community Interface Services is a nonprofit organization that provides person-centered services to children and adults with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, seizure disorder and other similar conditions. Services are concentrated in San Diego County, with some assistance extending to neighboring counties and statewide. The agency was founded on the principle that people with intellectual/developmental disabilities are in the best position to determine how they want to live.

Founding Story
Rojane founded Community Interface Services in 1983 with a vision to provide quality and innovative services for people with developmental disabilities. Her background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development with an emphasis in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from the University of San Francisco, and post-graduate work in Rehabilitation Administration at the San Diego State University Interwork Institute Leadership Forum. Rojane served as the agency’s Executive Director and as a Member of the Community Interface Services Board of Directors from 1983-2016
