Why is this agency even still being funded by our tax dollars From what I gather after reading all the reviews now I understand why there is no answer when you call and why I have now left 3 messages in the past 3 weeks and NO ONE has responded. I live alone have no family to help broke my leg and here I am risking a fall and yet another injury because I have zero help and those who are here to help get all the funds and provide zero services

It took awhile to get a hold of someone but boy was it worth it Iris did a PHENOMENAL job taking care of the member I was assisting. You can really tell she cares tremendously for this population. You all served yourselves well by hiring her Great job Iris Thank you for all the care you provide and the love you give to a population that is severely overlooked

These people are horriblethey do not care and do nothing. Then I get a call this morning from them after8 years and had the nerve to lie claiming I called them the other day. Liars. They just ignored. Im sick of the damn abuse of these do nothing agencies who would rather defame to deter doing what they receive funds for. Im beyond pissed these freaking liars. Dont even have records because if they did they would see their lack of services. I can guess who stopped any assistance I require. I almost had a heart attack from the lies and games. FOH. They can gloat some more about denying people.

This place is horrible. They do not help . This place barely lifts a fingure to do a thing. they are bent on people being on ssi and welfare and not really advocating or seeing that a disabled person rights under the ADA are respected and that we are fully accommodated. This place is about the money not those who need their help.

I left this terrible agency back in 2017. It was the best decision I have ever made.I was able to hire my significant other through another agency. CIDNY is not for people with disabilities and it is definitely not for elderly clients. Most females who are home care workers are living an unhealthy lifestyle and very disrespectful. I dont recommend this agency. You are better off hiring someone you can trust to take good care of you everyday.

I have been trying to become a client for the past week. Left several messages via email and phone and no one has gotten back to me. Not the best way to treat disabled people in need of services. My situation is dire and I cant get the help I need. I know your website says youre not seeing people in person yet but I am ready to go to the office in person. I know you get a lot of clients but when youre told by the recording youll get a call back by the next business day and you dont theres something wrong there.

when trying to blaze the everyday care public programs of support grace of the differently able trying to get back up again with respect encouragement This is no small feat of insight working with people who need good kind attention care inspiration. Very well seasoned diversity and respect given all people trying to mangage lives work together no matter what the issues their good knowledge to help with blazing trails new territory. Disability is very diverse misunderstood. The people are often mired in poverty suppresion respect is here welcoming encouragement to support help grow. With grace understanding creative sound care advice in nuturing productive enviroments of some wildly special good souls. Community compassion for all. Harmony and grace to support grow inspire each other along our ways. Asking for help letting people help are very important steps in good kind care. I was slowly put back together following an assault drunk driver accident thru 911 aswell. It not been easy and the differently able community is very miss understood or overlooked not here peace comfort to all. Saving lives inspiring all the most charming people I ever engaged for support help in brutally abusive unfortunate times all too often. Fighting for simple good care respect.

With just one call I was connected to Evelyn who responded to my clients issues immediately and set out a course of action. She was extremely pleasant and helpful. I am in the public sector--nice to work so collegialy.

I am completely disabled person cannot stand or walk I use electric scooter. The door I must use to enter building is extremely heavy making it impossible for me to open.September 2016 I started asking management of building Trion management to help the answer was NO I contacted NYC Human Rights Comm. For almost a year they tried to help with very little progress. Trion Management keep procrastinating.I called MDA for help I was directed to this office CIDNY Within a month a new door was installed. A perfect doorThank you Lourdes I. Most of the staff is rude disrespectful.There are a few exceptions but most staff is nasty.They treat most people who come to get services like their a nuisance a pain in the neck. It used to be a 5 star agency 7 years ago.
