About Chrysalis Autism Center, Inc.

Chrysalis Autism Center has been providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) to children with autism in Rock Hill, South Carolina since 2008. EIBI is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a research-proven method of treatment for children with autism. Early Intervention is crucial towards developing young children with autism to their full potential. EIBI focuses on the "Learning to Learn" skills necessary for children to become successful participants in their families, community and educational environments. Our quality programs are both exciting and effective, emphasizing language, communication, imitation, play, social and self-help skills.

Founding Story

The mission of Chrysalis Autism Center is to provide young children with autism opportunities to learn essential skills that are necessary to develop satisfying family, community, and educational connections. We utilize the most recent research-based behavioral procedures that have been shown to increase skill acquisition and improve the quality of life of individuals with autism. By maximizing instructional opportunities, we strive to produce accelerated rates of learning for our students. We empower parents, educators, and behavioral staff by providing training and support as we work together to change the lives of the children we serve.

We believe that parents play a key role in the education of their children; and that, for true learning to occur, children need to repeatedly explore, manipulate, experiment, and interact with others in a variety of settings. Our behavioral staff provides the professional expertise and intense introduction of treatment ideas and techniques that empower you, as parents, to carry out these techniques throughout your child’s daily schedule in your home and in the community. This will ensure generalization and true learning.
