Introduction

Hi, I’m Chloe, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in sunny San Diego. I work with children from 6 months and up, using a play-based, strengths-focused approach to build confidence and help them communicate more freely. My specialties include early intervention, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, AAC, feeding therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy and neurodiversity-affirming care for autistic children. I’m passionate about empowering families, making therapy fun, and celebrating every win—big or small. Outside of therapy, you can find me golfing, baking, or hunting for my next houseplant and matcha at the farmers market.

My passion lies in feeding therapy and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). I use a strong foundation in oral motor function, specialized training in the SOS Approach to Feeding and AOMT coursework, and had the privilege of attending the Child Apraxia Treatment Advanced Workshop with Dr. Edythe Strand to strengthen my use of DTTC, a highly effective approach for CAS.

At the core of my work is a belief in building trust. Helping every child feel safe, capable, and empowered to share their voice.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

Playful
Passionate
Energetic
If I had to choose three words to describe myself, they would be playful, passionate, and energetic. Playfulness is at the heart of my therapy sessions—I believe kids learn best when they’re having fun. My passion drives me to keep learning and adapting so I can give each child the best support possible. And my energy helps keep sessions engaging and motivating. I’m your child’s cheerleader, celebrating every milestone right alongside you, whether it’s a first word, a new sound, or a meaningful connection.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I’m best positioned to serve young children in early intervention, kids with speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, AAC users, autistic children, and those with feeding challenges. My approach is play-based and sensory-focused, which works especially well for kids who thrive in a supportive, engaging environment. I am also in the process of finishing up my certification in orofacial myofunctional therapy. I’m not as well-positioned to serve older children with needs outside my expertise, due to that fact that most of my materials are more pediatric in nature. My goal is always to ensure families get the most effective support possible.

    Beaming Review

Chloe is one of the most passionate and dedicated clinicians I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, especially in feeding and early language and is always eager to keep learning and growing. Families love her positivity and responsiveness, and if I had a child in need of support, I’d send them to Chloe in a heartbeat.
