Stop treating us like some customers. Were human beings Have some concern I called my sons primary doctor today and they said nothings available today. She said just go to childrens urgent care in escondido. We got there before 7pm and they closed at 10pm. They wont let me and my sick son inside. It was cold outside We waited 30 minutes to get in. IDK why theres no line outside. The receptionist was rude and not helpful. She said they cant take my son because I dont have any appointment. Im like why do you need an appointment at urgent care. Its pretty much walk in. She said to go to San Diego emergency room which is like 45 minute drive. The receptionist dont care at all Hope they changed things here in urgent care Escondido It has way too many bad reviews I hoped it wont happened to their children

Rushed in 20 minutes before closing because my daughter was losing circulation in her toe from a hair tourniquet I couldnt release as it kept getting more edematous and bright red and none of the doctors were willing see us just to cut it with no one else in the waiting room

It is great that they have an urgent care. When you find out that your child is ill or gets injured after hours it is nice to have somewhere to take them. Yes sometimes there is a wait but the staff is wonderful and so are the doctors. My insurance covers urgent cares when it is an emergency so I would check your insurance to make sure it is covered before you go. Urgent care can be expensive. But It is better than going to the ER where you run the risk of catching something.

I took my son here because it was the only close urgent care still open. We arrived at 855pm and walked in to check him in. The very rude lady checking in said they werent taking anymore patients. I looked at my watch confused because they clearly closed at 10pm she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. After reading other reviews Im thankful he wasnt seen here

I was hesitant to bring my son here when he was having a lingering viral infection just because of the bad reviews. I was expecting a bad experience but it was the complete opposite. The lady checking us in was very sweet and so were the receptionists nurses and the doctor Dr.Todd. We got there at 645 and left within an hour. The doctor was very thorough nice and playful with my son during the exam. I didnt have a bad experience at all and would definitely come back if need be.

We came at 920 and they didnt want to accept us for the reason being max capacity when there are wide open seats with just only 2 out of many seats taken. It seems as if they dont care for patients.

THEY WILL KEEP YOU THERE JUST TO BILL YOUMy son obviously needed stitches. They were told this before checking in. Instead of telling us they do not provide that service they chose to check us in make us wait in the waiting room for 2 hours then look say yes he needs stitches and send us to the ERThey were shown at check in you could clearly see the cut was large and all the way to the bone. It was obviously something that could not be glued. They literally did nothing but check us in have us wait then send us to the ER... and the lovely part of all that is they sent us a bill... 469.00 just for them to tell us they cannot do stitches...My kids have always seen Childrens pediatricians but Palomar hospital has always provided better emergency care. Will never go there again

I would have loved to give a better rating because the staff were nice and very helpful but reason of my one star review is because I took my toddler here because he had trouble breathing and had a bad cough and high fever. As soon as we got there they didnt do much just gave him Tylenol for his fever and told me the breathing would get better and let us go.That same night I had to call the ambulance because my baby was a bit unresponsive. Getting to the hospital he was diagnosed with Croup and needed a breathing treatment ASAP. Do to the doctors at Randys not getting to it and telling me all he had was a common cold I had to spend two nights at the hospital because my baby had to be on oxygen.

My sons heart condition requires us to visit his cardiologist routinely. The staff is always helpful and kind. They treat him with respect and do their best to explain everything in ways he and I both understand. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but they seem to try their best to minimize as much as possible.

My daughter was sick and we brought her here our wait was very brief and the nurses were amazing She ended up vomiting all over their scale us - the nurses were so great in helping us clean up assuring us it was no big deal and making sure that my daughter was taken care of first and foremost. The doctor was very thorough but didnt do anything unnecessary. She did the correct tests and provided with antibiotics after the flu and strep tests came back negative. With the antibiotics she was better in no time. We will absolutely be back if my daughter is sick again in the future
