Compassionate brilliant thoughtful patient-centric practice with a phenomenal team. We have been at Childrens Healthcare Associates for almost 12 years and are so appreciative and grateful to our incredible medical team for their excellent service. We love our regular physician and have had wonderful experiences with all the other physicians nurse practitioners and nurses we have had to visit in urgent situations if ours was not available. They are always patient-centric taking the time to empower children to be self-advocates and to empower their parents and caregivers to be advocates for and partners in the well being of their children. They are extremely knowledgable accessible thoughtful and helpful. Our experiences with the appointment making billing staff has also been exceptional. Thorough friendly and supportive at all times. Cannot speak highly enough about the entire practice.

This place is class discriminatory. For our newborn they wouldnt accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO marketplace they only accept BCBS PPO through employers. The bad part Were self-employed.

We have been going here for more than seven years with two of my kids. Weve been very pleased with our experience with our pediatrician. Theyre very communicative and on top of things. Whenever we ask for paperwork from school they are always responsive.

Worst Pediatricians there is always a different doctor never the same my son has been sick and getting fever almost every 1-2 weeks and they keep saying that it is normal. Fever every 1-2 weeks is not normal Stay away from these doctors they just charge and do nothing.

Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this practice. I was reassured THREE different times that our insurance would be accepted. It is listed on their website as accepted I called to confirm twice and gave the insurance card prior to the first appointment. It took until months after our third appointment there to get a bill for 1500 for basic newborn checkups. Since then Ive been ignored despite calling and emailing multiple times we moved to a different state and cannot come in person. The one time I got through the bill was reduced by an inconsequential amount and then back to being ignored. The administrative staff is completely unhelpful and do not care at all about adding major financial stress to new parents.

We do not feel very cared for at this office.We are having ongoing issues with our sons prescription and we found out from a different location that we have not been told information that would have made our lives a lot easier.Our son has a monthly prescription and we have been frantically calling around on the day that his prescription expires because we were told that they couldnt do anything to refill the prescription until 30 days were up each month so we are always calling ON THE DAY the prescription expires and it causes a lot of running around and uncertainty.We just found out after a year of going here that we could have been calling up to a week before hand to pre-order the prescription filing if the dr just made sure to set the effective date to the correct fill date. We were also told the dr could send 3 prescriptions since they are good for 90 days and we wouldnt have to call the drs office every month only every 3. Why were we not told ANY of this Why were we forced to go through a panic every month if it could have been avoidedSo this month we are again calling in trying to get a prescription filled ON the day we run out because we were not told the above and of course there is not a dr in the office who can fill our prescription so now we are out of my sons prescription which greatly affects him and will be out for at least the entire weekend.The nurses we spoke to on the phone were not only unhelpful but seemed like they actively had no interest in helping us. What if the prescription was a life dependent prescription then what Are you literally saying there is no way to fill a prescription on the weekends We offered to drive to them pick up a physical prescription or asked if there was ANY other thing we could do and of course were met with flat Nos.I left it at two stars because we do like our Dr Dr Sterrett but all of the other failings around every other part of this Pediatricians office has been so under our expectations and the lack of interest in actually supporting their patients has reached a breaking point and I think this is our last straw we will be looking elsewhere for a new pediatrician.

CHA is the best. All of the doctors are incredible responsive and trustworthy. Highly recommend Dr. Shapiro but the whole practice is great and everyone weve seen for our newborn has been fantastic.

I appreciate the availability to access the nursesnurse practitionerdoctors when my children are sick. All the staff is pleasant and for a parent being able to reach and talk to someone when our children are not well goes a long way

Everyone at CHA Chicago is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. We have 3 kids under 3 and CHA has provided great care for all of them. Even our 2 year old loves visiting the office

Dr. Shapiro is the best. We had an incredible first visit with our son today. She went above and beyond to get to know us and help educate us about our little bittys development health. The staff was very kind and organized. Even on a Friday afternoon when most people mentally check outnot the case here. They could not have been more lovely. I will refer everyone I know here.
