Children's Dental Fun Zone - West Covina

So everyone here is pretty nice but my only complaint is that the dentist did not do anything about my toddlers cavities. I have gone here since a while back and she said she would just monitor his teeth however I knew his teeth wasnt looking that great already. We went a second time and again said she would just monitor it. But at this time his teeth have progressively gotten worse even tho we are brushing them daily often and doing everything. Theres no reason to just monitor cavities if they already exist so keep in mind if they do this to you to. Its only okay to monitor if the cavity has not formed completely and is just starting. But if a cavity is already formed it just gets worse and can spread more so theres no reason not to take it out. However since my sons teeth started to look worse and complained of pain I decided to get a second opinion and took him another dentist and this dentist found he had 9 cavities. His front teeth look visibly worse than when I first took him here. Had this dentist gotten rid of his cavities when she should have his teeth would not have gotten worse because this was a span of a long time like a few months maybe a year that she kept waiting and I thought she knew better. She just wanted to keep monitoring it and get crowning which is a much more expensive procedure. My sister took her daughter here and got crowning and kept saying she would monitor her teeth as well. I have begun to suspect that maybe the only reason she monitors and lets their teeth get worse is so they need crowning and already knows she will try to use crowning because it makes a lot more money or they just dont want to do as much work I dont know why she does this. The second dentist I took him in is going to get rid of his cavities but now he needs to go under anesthesia and sedation because its so many cavities and all that was unnecessary had it gotten fixed right there and then.

I got my braces here and now have gotten 2 retainers as a college student I was able to afford it and always left with a smile the doctors are always so so sweet even lost my retainer for around 9 months and they told me I could get braces to make it perfect but if I dont want to I dont need them that made me stick to this place even though I now live an hour away.

Weve had nothing but great experiences since my daughters have been patients here. The treatment team is awesome and the front staff are always helpful

I love this place always very organized and fast.Ive been bringing my 5 year old for about 2-3 years now and today I brought my 3 year old for the first time and he loved it . They gave him toys at the end of his visit and he was very happy Highly recommend childrens dental FunZone

Love this place other than appointment accommodation. Takes forever for appointments and they make it difficult making one that suits your schedule.

I love their lobby and the person that makes the balloons great idea to keep the kids distracted. Every time I come I easily wait 1-2 hours to be seen...

Great place for my 4 year old they have coloring activities and toys for after the visit. Very friendly and welcoming my daughter loves the visits

This place is the best. Super friendly staff. Professional and organized. Appointments available when other places wont even talk to you. Highly recommend them. Kids love it here

My son typically has a very hard time at the dentist but Leslie did a wonderful job of calming him down and was able to take his x-rays without a problem.

Sorry I just want to understand how am I breaking HIPAA compliance when Im going based off analytics on an organization called power to the patients and the no surprise act. I am giving my review and this is where we have landed.They scheduled my daughter for 217. When I ask to reschedule they say nothing until May. I do not know what to do at this point. Just seems like if you have PPO your child has to wait 3 months out to schedule anything meanwhile everyone else on Medicaid gets first appointments before the kids who are on PPO insurance.

First time here and they treated us important. Ms. Natalia is just the sweetest she made the appointment easy and quick feels like I made a great choice coming here
