This is our first season of soccer at YMCA after over 10 years playing various sports with various programs. This has been the worst most unorganized youth sport program weve ever been apart of.

Do not recommend When I asked my son what he wanted to do this summer his only answer was to learn how to fish. When I found the YMCA fishing camp he was so excited. Hes never fished before and couldnt wait. Of the 5 camps he was registered for this one was all he talked about. When registered I was quick to get emailed a receipt so I knew our email address was accurate but they never sent anything else about what to expect or what the kids need to bring or anything at all. When he was picked up after his first day he was crying. He never got to fish or play any games. The counselors left the kids alone to fish without teaching or telling them anything. And only one kid there had a fishing rod. When we questioned about that they said we are supposed to send our kid with fishing supplies yet the website didnt have any information on what we needed and there were zero emails or texts or any contact even confirming that camp was even coming up much less that we needed to provide anything. He also said that when it was time to play games the counselors wouldnt let them play and just yelled at them. That they used bad language and were really mean. At first I thought maybe there were some kids being really bad but no. They were yelling and cussing around the whole group not allowing them to play anything.Camps are expensive. Pay hundreds for your kid to go to this fishing camp and he wont be shown a single thing about fishing and will get yelled by angry cussing counselors and come home crying.

Whenever i went here it was fine i made friends and other stuff but my main problems are 1 they dont let you bring your phone and if you did then they would take it away. 2 i got athletes foot from this place their bathrooms at their cleaned pool is not clean it in fact would usually have pee and unknown substances on the floor and the pool dont even get me started. just dont take your kid here during the summer only the school breaks and what not but i dont have as much a problem with number 1 than i do with number 2.

Not a good place to send your kids. My child still talks about an Incident with someone stomping on a bird and killing it. She said it was one of the adults.

Really nice. We can enjoy rock climbing up a wall and spring Sports. You can also enjoy outdoor sports like baseball and basketball. And of course the lake is right there near you. I saw it for the first time today and the entire area is absolutely wonderful

The location is great however this review pertains to their youth soccer program. My 8 year old son just finished his 2nd soccer season with them. The first was great. The coach was good with the kids and everything seemed to run as smoothly as it could. Unfortunately this second season has left me greatly disappointed. I wasnt as happy with it in general as I was last year but that is fine. I was still planning on signing him up again next season. Recent events have made me change my mind though. At the end of October my son took a direct hit from a soccerball to the face during practice. After walking it off he seemed okay and continued on with the practice. The next day we get a call from the school nurse. She tells us that he has a headache and he is disoriented. We pick him up from school and take him to the doctor where we discover that he has a concussion. The doctor says that he needs to refrain from soccer until the follow up visit the next week. I dont hold COY responsible for any of this. Things like this happen in sports all the time. We knew that when we signed our son up.We emailed the coach to let him know about our son received a concussion at practice and of the doctors orders. We told him that we would not be at practice that Friday or the following Monday nor the game that Saturday. We did not receive a response. This bothered me but I let it slide. I still received emails from the coach addressed to the team regarding practices and games but nothing about my son.We took our son to the follow up visit a week later and the doctor said that he was better but still recovering and that he would have to sit out the rest of the season. Again I emailed the coach to update him on the situation. This time I asked him to let us know how he would like us to finish out the season. Again I did not receive a response. The last game of the season was last weekend. We still havent heard from any of the coaches. There were three of them and none of them could be bothered to make a phone call or send an email. Earlier this week we sent an email to the director of the youth soccer program. We still have not received a response. COY is not responsible for my son getting injured but I am holding them fully responsible for the lack of communication of their staff.I suppose that the COY youth soccer program is decent enough just dont expect them to care if your child gets injured on their property while participating in their program. If that matters to you you might want to find something else for your child to do.

Great coaches. When it came to the tournament games they were VERY unorganized. We were scheduled to play at one field had to switch fields and didnt have a referee. We finally got to play 2 hours later after we had been rained on and walked all over. Not fun
