Working for Charles Lea has been an experience of good and bad The individuals and most of the teammates are awesome starting as a Program Manager DSP Lead then back to Program Manager has been conflicting where trying to see where I belonged and wanted to do. As a PM the help with coverage is a slim to no help I had great Directors for the most part when I started but they had other homes too so yet its still slim as a whole of CLC. Staff wasnt always just doing as they should then HR not helping you. The HR generalist doesnt know her job to help its a idk kinda thing or its not my department. You have staff being allowed to record personal conversations of staff talking and getting terminated You have the homes not well taken care of that most families should be disgusted with you have ppl that will talk down on individuals like they have no feelings but yet rights are trained monthly but yet CLC withhold most of the rights and say what things the individual should and shouldnt know. Overall CLC will not be a place I recommend because they only need the bodies to fill the gap its not a true family nor teamwork. I wish families would be more involved with loved ones in places like this because you get ppl who title push and policy hand that they dont know versus knowing the ppl and actually treating them as their normal. This place needs more training time because coming in Ive seen most managers not knowing or having the knowledge of how to run 2-3 homes then quit within 2mos. Charles Lea will never get help if they treat employees this way.

I wish I could rate this company 0 stars. This is the absolute WORST company to go with for home health. Their respite case managers are far from good. The communication of this company is also awful. If you work for this company be prepared for messed up pay checks every week and no one willing to fix them. Its a great company to work for if you dont care about getting paid

If you are missing a pay check- calling will not solve anything. There is NEVER a human that you can talk with messages left are never returned. Emails are never answered. This agency took over when Jasper County was already doing a great job I work hard with my client if you miss submitting you will never recover that check. Frustrated beyond words

Never had problems with late pay with other payroll company this company is the worst and worst getting thru to when there is an issue with getting paid...thought at once things was getting better but here we go again at least with the other company they if they made a mistake it was fixed and received in the same day...

Love this place and the work they do Have family that gets their services. Also I love seeing them in the community. Their consumers are always loved.

Love the individuals but its hard to make a decent living off the wages

13.39 to be overworked and under appreciated. You speak up about the excessive labor and they say youre overwhelmed. Not overwhelmed just not going to sit quiet while you try to practically slave people. This is not a living wage. Nobody answers phones to get termination letters pay stubs etc. If you get a receptionist they transfer you to a line that doesnt even have an option to leave a message. Only positive about this place is the individuals served.

working for this company has been the biggest headache of my life Their portal for checking paystubs is trash My pay is always messed up and I work the same amount of hours every week Ive asked them multiple times to make sure my federal taxes are withheld. They did it twice and then my next Check after that did not have any withdrawn Its just ridiculous

They just received a contract to process payroll for Medicaid longterm care Caregivers and they dont have a clue what they are doing They dont return calls payroll is late or wrong nearly every period since they have taken over. They take taxes out on exempt workers and refuse to answer your calls and return emails for questions. This place is horrible. They obviously bid on processing they are not adequately staffed to handle properly and they could care less about the peoples lives they are affecting they just want to get paid for the contract. I NEVER had a missed payroll with Jasper County nor any issues. This place is an unorganized nightmare

This establishment is complete garbage. They have taken over the responsibility of paying caregivers from Medicaid to caregivers and they are not doing their job. My employee is not getting his payments and I am at risk of losing a good caregiver for my child. I have followed all protocols with emailing patience making phone calls etc. No one has ever responded to me or the caregiver other than automatic response emails. I have contacted the number listed under google as well and I was transferred to this same voicemail system and I get no call backs. Its been a half of months pay missing for two months now and now another three weeks worth of money paid out from Medicaid. This place is a joke. Its a special place in hellFor people who interfere with disabled peoples health and well-being.
