Centria Healthcare – New Mexico

This review is specifically for the ABA portion. Getting my children tested was a easy going process. Unfortunately I had to dc services with Centeia last night abruptly. Let me start last month was holidays its a fold and flu season and snowing quite a bit in the mts. Due to the listed reasons above I had to reschedule a few times in the last month due to those reasons listed above. We ALWAYS made up the hours Rather sessions happend on a Tuesday or a Sunday my child got his weekly hours So last night had my meeting with Mary she comes off very kind and is responsive but she did not like that we had schdeule changes and that meant we were doing make up days and she did not like that. My child was still getting a reasonable amount of sessions with in an hour or 2 off from what is recommended. The biggest issue is she was trying to say we were rescheduling for other reasons not listed such as running errands taking my children to sports activities and amoung others which is a LIE. I personally will accept responsibility if its the truth but this is a LIE. Then I was called ignorant . I do not want to deal with unprofessionalism the non flexibility from them who cares if i scheduled for a Sunday instead of a Thursday because of snow. They are truly in it for money my child was a number for them I do not recommend services with them. Centria needs to change their rigid thinking learn to be flexible train staff better and look at their values as a company and make sure it aligns differently. Sadly Im in search of a new place for my children to gain services again. We all really liked our tech that worked with my child. If he went and worked for another company we would take him. I wish him well and hope he finds a replacement soon.

If you are looking to apply here please go somewhere else. I loved my job but I was bounced from 4 clients in less than 6 months.For ridiculous reasons. They even had me train my replacement for my case without letting me know. Then I was informed they were firing me because I didnt call a specific person back. I never received a call from said person. So the job they do for the kids is amazing. But the management Not good

Update they had me send insurance information several times...only to get a 625 bill...they keep cancelling sessions and the number on the bill hangs up every time. I really understand why theres a 2.6 rating now. Its a joke already. Time to look for another place.Very poor communication for months...you only get little bits of information at a time...then they call and were like oh we wanted to make sure his start date was good to go they never even told me about the start date or that we had to buy all the food and snacks. I rushed to get everything and woke up early on start day to get him there and they cancelled on me an hour before after the fact I just talked to them the day before. Based off of other reviews Im starting to second guess this company. I agree with the other reviews...very unprofessional and unorganized. Wish I saw these reviews after waiting this long to get him in.

Worst company Ive worked for . So unprofessional Ive heard ever since i got hired to always write down your hours because of how unorganized they are and it happened to me as promisedsadly. No communication from FSMs about absolutely anything going on . Youre put on the back burner if you dont bug them every single day the fact that they have such a high turnover rate is mostly because youre waiting months for a case to be assigned to you to later find our all the new employees have all the hours you have been asking and waiting for . Wouldnt recommend this place for a job to anyone its so unprofessional and so unstable when it comes to your income. They dont understand the words no i cant or no Im not available for that so they push your boundaries constantly unfortunately if you put your foot down they almost act like youre not even working there

My kids have been at Centria Autism for one year. Their services are professional and have literally changed my childrens lives. I recommend their services to any parent I come across who has children with autism.

All they care about is money and judging the way i manage my child as a parent who has my kid 247. I thought they were supposed to help make things better not worse on us.

Sorry i ever let these people in my home They only care about numbers not the actual child.Our tech was clearly inexperienced but she was nice.Bryan on the other hand was quite rude at times he spoke as if my child was only a number

Update After the 3rd call I got the number to the local office they have since been very helpful. I still think they should be easier to get a hold of.This may very well be a good company but I wouldnt know because I cant get through to anybody to talk about services. I called yesterday at 430pm and despite being a 24 hour hotline I was told that I needed to call back the next day. I called the only number I could find at 10am today. I was told that the person I was talking to was not even located in Albuquerque and someone from that office would contact me at a later time. Great I guess Ill get the information Im looking for whenever they feel like giving it to me.

I wanted you to be aware of Centria in Albuquerque NM. My son was to receive ABA therapy through them. During the intake he escalated when the BCBA Angeline Clarke insisted that he stay off the computer while she was there and she would take his hand held electronic game out from his hands and stated it was her turn. She intentionally provoked him and he acted out behaviorally. He escalated and became aggressive. I put him in a physical hold. Angeline came back a week later to state that they cannot provide ABA due to his behaviors and she recommended that he go to a Residential Treatment Center. He is 7 She threatened to call Protective Services if we did not agree to admit him. We reached out to our disability advocate to protect his rights. Angeline then in turn filed that report with Protective Services. She used his medical records and reported all his diagnosis he received since the age of 4. She reported all his behaviors that were ever documented in his medical records as part of her complaint with Protective Services. The caseworker from Protective Services did come out and deemed her report unsubstantiated.I do not want another family to go through what we did.
