I had an interview with Namya Smithers at 2 pm . I just wanted to reach out and thank her for taking time out of her busy schedule to interview me. She was very kind. I loved hearing about the company and look forward to hearing back from you and learning more about the company. Have a great daySincerely Catherine Dahlmann

This company spends more time protecting its image than providing legitimate services.

I had an interview today with Sid and I can definitely see why the ratings are poor and why the overturned rate is high. As a person with criminal justice and psychology background I never work with children with autism so I had a few questions during the interview process. To my surprise I was taking back by Sids comments and inability to listen as I was interviewing. I was skeptical prior to even interviewing and was pretty sure that I wasnt even going to go with her through with the process but definitely we both acknowledged that the same time this is not a good fit for me. In the future hire someone more professional and knowledgeable about the company that is not reading from documents and unable to comprehend with the interviewer is saying.

They just gutted their virtual ABA program laying off dozens of ABA providers and displacing hundreds of families leaving them with no resources and virtually no notice. Stay away. They dont care about people your childrens well being etc.

Good morningMy husband and I started off pretty confident in Centria when my daughter first began ABA. However during the pandemic we were given the hardest time. The virtual classroom began being pushed by the company but our location kept lying to my family saying our insurance did not cover when in fact it did. It was not until I threatened to leave that I was then told our insurance would cover it. That went on for a month before it was resolved. Then once my daughter started virtual therapy the issue came about of Centria not wanting to give her a iPad because she started out doing only 4 hours a week. They wanted her to do 15 hours or she could not get the iPad. This is a 4 year old autistic child who is not going to stay in front of a screen for 4 hours a day. I was willing to increase her hours gradually but they wanted it immediately. I was not willing to do that and in result my child was denied her right to a device. My health insurance has paid Centria thousands of dollar for therapy over the last 2 years and now my daughters services are denied over a 500 device When Centria is a million dollar company I am very disgusted at the lack of compassion here. Schools are giving away devices smh. Please do better for future families.

I brought my grandkids and they had a blast. The volunteers were excellent and very supportive. I love the sensory tables they had. It was my second time going with my older grandson so I brought the other kids. I really recommend people to attend. You wont be disappointed. The kids will have fun.

Great concept The set upsupervision was not great AT ALL. I have never worked with Centria.. I was only in town for the weekend and saw the event online. But if you are going to have volunteeres there should be some type of system or guidelines. My 3 yr old was in the bounce house when 3 or more older kids were let in and they started doing flips and rough housing I understand everyone wants to have fun but if youre going to have someone countingwatching how many kids go into bounce house you better be watching while they are in there . And the parents that were there seemed to just stand on the sidelines not even watching their own kids....just left it up to the workersvolunteers which didnt seem to be watchingcaring for anyone there .

This event was just perfect My son who is a kiddo of Centria saw his peers and had the time of his life with activities of his speed. Everyone was enjoying themselves while networking and just having pure-dee fun I even referred a friend who also enjoyed themselves as well as her child was able to fit in as well They felt welcomed and would like to attend more events for much benefit came out of the experience. Thank you Centria for a great time.

In my 30 year history of working in Home Care I have never worked with a more ethical and reputable company. Their standards and accreditations far excel their competitors. In my book Centria is the best of the best. The owners and upper management tirelessly strive to provide an environment for their employees that is head and shoulders above other workplaces. They truly care about the welfare of their staff. I have never been treated better anyplace. Their interview process is strenuous for very good reason and if their turnover is considered high it is because they require a high standard of care from their employees. This is also exceptional for the industry. The owners are personally and professionally of the highest integrity and compassion. Centria has been audited about 70 times by 40 different regulatory bodies since June of 2016 none of which resulted in a material finding against the company. I know of no other agency that could produce the same findings. Centria is the agency I have recommended in the past and will continue with great confidence to recommend them going forward.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR PRIVATE DUTY NURSING ESPECIALLY PEDIATRICS My daughter receives Private Duty Nursing from Centria. She has received it since December 2015. We have had nothing but problems with this company. To start when the client service manager called me to tell me about the initial interview of the nursing coming into my home they gave me the wrong name and overall not much information about her. Secondly when she arrived she did not have company identification. Upon our start with this company we were receiving 1500 respite hours from the state of Michigan. When I spoke with Jessica our client service manager at that time she told me not to worry about it and the hours and that the extension authorization had been completed and approved. Fast forward to February Jessica called me and told me to send my nurse home immediately as the extension of hours had not been approved. My daughter was very ill at this time resulting in my calling Lansing and begging them for help something that Centria shouldve done. Centria has never taken any ownership for any of their mistakes. Because of the the fact that they did not disclose to us the correct number of hours that my daughter had been approved for we lost hours from the state authorization because we had been understaffed. When I had my hearing with the state Centria was not present neither did they provide an explanation for everything that had occurred. Now we are still understaffed they keep sending nurses to my home that are great but the distance is waaaayyyyy too far for them. I have three children in my home and some of the nurses are not fond of extra children being in the home. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE I have more to say however we would need days to talk about how HORRIBLE this company is. They also have shorted the nurses in their hours and have misled them immensely.
