I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with the Center for Speech and my daughters speech therapist Ms. Anna. When we came to the Center my daughter was just over 2 years old with no words and very few sounds basically none. We received the most wonderful personalized care for our daughter and incredibly simple effective strategies to implement with her on a daily basis. People had told me my daughter would just one day start talking but Ms. Anna assured me that with work on all sides she would but work would be required. As a parent that was a hard thing to hear but let me tell you it worked. Ms. Anna poured in our daughter and worked to keep speech interesting and challenging. She was a constant encourager to me and spent time listening to my concerns and struggles and always gave the best advice. She was our village in teaching our daughter to talk. At the year evaluation it was filled with happy tears because of the progress my daughter made from intense hard work on all sides. Speech isnt simple and it does take time but the Center for Speech and Ms. Anna provided us and our daughter with the strategies exercises and tools we needed to bring my daughter to age level with her speech. I cannot recommend Ms. Anna enough. She is an incredible woman - both inside and out - and she helped our daughter talk and sing and provided such encouragement for me when I felt like I was failing my child. If you need a positive loving encouraging hardworking community of folks to help with speech the Center of Speech is for you.

My sons therapist Nicole is wonderful. He adores her and hes so excited to see her every week. Shes patient genuine and empathic. Hes come a very long way since he started treating with her and Im so grateful for her.

The Center for Speech and Language is a keyplayer in my recovery after a hemorrhagic strokeFebruary 2020.Jennifer Wilson coached me in writing reading telling time numbersphone use and handling money.What I like most is the emphasis she places on conversational skills. My then 3 y.o. son had speech therapy here last year. His speech and language development have noticeably improved. Even his daycare teachers commented that he is more verbal than before. My son enjoyed the time he spent with Ms. Anna.

My son and I was turned away at the door after I drove over an hour for his first session appointment because I was 12 minutes late due to Huntsville traffic. I even called before hand to let them know I was running late but due to their 10 minute late policy they couldnt see him for the remaining 18 minutes.They said they needed at least 20 minutes. Its sad that they couldnt use the remaining time to work with him but instead turned us away. It really hit the nail on the head when I was putting my son back into his car seat to leave and his therapist Anna walks out the door to take a walk. This is not how you run a business. Charge for the full 30 minute and work with the child for the remainder of time. Give a warning to the parent for their FIRST late appointment and say next time youre over 10 minutes youll have to reschedule. You are punishing the child and it really shows the values this business runs on. Do not recommend and will be taking my son somewhere else.

Mrs. Anna E. helped my sweet seven year old over come her speech issue in less than a year. Im excited that we are back with my youngest who is five and who counts down the days each week until she gets to go back to her next speech class. Both girls adore Mrs. Anna and Im always impressed with her gentle approach towards them. The entire staff is always so friendly. Center for Speech and Language came recommended to me and I definitely have and would continue to recommend them to anyone

I have loved working with Mrs. Bambi Reynolds Shes very patient and understanding. She explains the ins and outs of exercises and is on top of new practices and procedures. She has helped and encouraged me immensely. Such a great person and soul to have as your therapist. The front desk staff has always been wonderful understanding and helpful. I cannot recommend and thank this facility enough.

Center for Speech and Language really helped our youngest child with a significant lisp. It has taken time but Jennifer is so wonderful about making each visit fun with games and activities. Changing speech habits is hard work but we are almost to the finish line. Our very shy and quiet 10 year old actually enjoys speech therapy He is speaking up more in school and his teachers have noticed that he is more social in general. I really appreciate the schedule flexability and the wonderful office staff as well as the consistent feedback and encouragement as a parent. I cant thank them enough.

This center is just okay. Our almost three year old received therapy for a speech delay for 3 months and we did not see any kind of improvement. I understand that therapy is a process and takes time but we were never able to receive any kind of real insight as to what was causing her delay as our therapist kept saying she wasnt qualified to make any kind of real assessment or diagnosis. The facility itself is dated and dingy although the office staff is very nice. Overall I think there are better options in the Huntsville area for this service and will be seeking real help elsewhere.

We took our two year old grandson for a speech consult. The speech therapist Jennifer Wilson we worked with was very professional. Two year olds can be very difficult and she was extremely patient. Our grandson is no exception but she was able to work with him and tell us some areas that need to be addressed. We are looking forward to our next appointment. Thank you Jennifer
