Founding Story

Our practice has been fortunate to serve the Atlanta area for over 20 years. All of our psychologists have experience working with children and/or adults with a variety of abilities and are well-versed in differential diagnosis, in personally tailoring assessments to tap the strengths and weaknesses of individuals dependent upon the referral questions, in interpretation of test results for parents and students, and in providing specific recommendations for intervention.

Many of our child psychologists also have a history of working in local Atlanta - area school systems as well as college counseling centers, and have expertise regarding Department of Education rules and regulations, particularly those affecting children with special needs. We can assist you in translating test results for school staff and advocating for accommodations or support services needed. We have extensive experience with dyslexia testing as well as autism evaluations. We are always here for follow-up questions after psychoeducational evaluation or help with follow-through on recommendations. We also offer online psychoeducational evaluations for college and graduate students who need a reevaluation in order to keep previously established accommodations.

Beaming Review

This is a group of top notch psychoeducational evaluators. They care about reaching root issues contributing to a child's struggle and work collaboratively with parents, schools and therapists. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Lang for nearly 15 years. I am so excited to have a satellite office of the Center for Psychological and Educational Assessment alongside my practice in Cumming. Our community needs trusted evaluators, and they are the best.
