Founding Story
Celeste has worked for OCRA for almost 20 years. As an Associate Clients’ Rights Advocate, she advocates for clients of the Regional Center of the East Bay. Celeste is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz with a major in Latin American Studies, and she obtained her teaching credential from San Jose State University. Celeste speaks Spanish and was a bilingual elementary school teacher prior to coming to OCRA. Celeste feels a strong connection to her clients and their families because she advocates for her own daughter, who has cerebral palsy. Her personal experiences fuel her dedication to obtaining the best possible outcomes for her clients.
