Introduction

Hi, I’m Carrie, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in Virginia Beach, and I’m passionate about helping children build confidence through communication. I work with preschool and elementary-aged children using a strengths-based, play-oriented approach that keeps therapy engaging and meaningful. I believe strong family connections are an essential part of progress, and I love partnering with caregivers throughout the therapy journey. Therapy is conveniently provided in-home or in-school to fit each family’s schedule and daily routines. My areas of expertise include speech and sound disorders, language delays, and reading and literacy support, all while making therapy fun and motivating for children.

I truly enjoy building strong relationships with both kids and caregivers, and I love celebrating the small moments that lead to big breakthroughs in communication, confidence, and literacy skills.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I’m best positioned to serve preschool and elementary-aged children who benefit from a playful, relationship-centered approach to speech and language therapy. I especially enjoy supporting children with speech and sound disorders, language delays, and reading or literacy challenges, particularly older children learning to strengthen their reading skills and confidence. My goal is always to make therapy engaging and functional so children can communicate more successfully with peers, family, and teachers.
