Caroline C Batenburg, MD

Caroline Batenburg, MD has been working as a private psychiatrist in New Braunfels since 1995. She received her medical degree from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 1989. She then did an internship in Pediatrics at Scott and White for one year. Afterwards, she did her residency at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she was trained in adult psychiatry. She also completed her sub-specialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry there as well. She is Board Certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Batenburg has lived in New Braunfels since 1989. In addition to her professional career, she has been dedicated to raising her children, who graduated from local schools and are now living out of state, pursuing their own careers. Born in Holland, she has bicycling in her blood. She also enjoys various arts and crafts. She loves birds, trees and people.
