Mortified by the experience I have had with this office. These people are not professionals. They have no clue what theyre doing. They cannot even answer the phone.

I really dont know how to word this. I dont know Dr Batenburg personallybut OMG she and her staff helped my daughter today My daughter had to interview a Psychiatrist for her midterm paper and for weeks had been emailing others with no help or response. With NO hesitation she accepted to help her. Thank you so much

Dr. Batenburg is fantastic I refer many of my counseling clients to her for appropriate medications. She is a careful listener and has a warm personality.

Ive been seeing Dr. Batenburg for several years and she has help me with several aspects of my life divorce anxiety and aging parents. She is very professional and personable plus I love her staff.

Batenburg had been recommended to me and I waited to get my child in to see her for three months. As a result of our second visit she called CPS to report me as a neglectful parent. Batenburg has had my child on her schedule for 5 months without even reaching out to my childs therapist of three years to gain background information. Completely unprepared and unprofessional. She took information that I volunteered to her and used it against me as well as readily taking my 700 for those initial two visits. I am a single mother dealing with a child with serious trauma for three years. I have gotten her the absolute best help I knew to get with professionals helping me make the hard decisions. This woman took maybe 20 minutes total in these two sessions to talk with me about my child. Her job is to gather as much information and history from the other professionals working with our children then make educated decisions and recommendations for care. Batenburg has had no time and taken no measures to truly understand the depth of our situation and when she said I think I will have to file with CPS for neglect I was dumbfounded. She then quickly ushered my child and I out of her office. This is the first Google review I have ever left but I want to share this information with any other parents who have been in the trenches with a child trying their best to keep that child alive. Batenburg is not the psychiatrist to trust. I cannot begin to express the extent of my feelings of frustration and betrayal. Is there a credible child psychiatrist in Central TX

I have several Drs and she is the best one I have seen. She is really helpful and willing to try new things.

Dr Batenburg is an outstanding psychiatrist. I highly recommend her. She is so knowledgeable and had an excellent easy manner. Her office staff is amazing and quick to help while always being professional and understanding of psychiatric needs.
