About Camp Twin Lakes - Rutledge

Camp Twin Lakes provides year-round, fully-adaptive, and deeply impactful camp experiences to nearly 10,000 of Georgia’s children and young adults, helping each camper grow in their confidence and experience the joys of childhood. Our intentionally-designed programs help campers overcome obstacles as they learn new skills to more independently manage their challenges. As they make memories with their peers, the isolation they often feel vanishes in the comfort of new friendships forged by the strongest of bonds—the challenges they have in common. The magic happens at our camp sites in Rutledge and Winder, Georgia, through Camp-To-Go programs at children’s hospitals throughout the state, and even online.

Beaming Review

As a kid, I went to Camp Sunshine on the East Side of Camp Twin Lakes and I’d give it 100% I loved the cabins with the shower help. All the buildings were large enough that you could fit many people in them and there were many things to do. Now that I’m older, I started at Camp Blue Sky’s this year and went to the west side. I’d seriously give it a 50% since all the buildings are so tiny. How do think you’re supposed to get multiple campers in a building when you have no space? You tell me. And there were multiple activities I was looking forward to (that I did at previously Camp Sunshine) that were not provided at Blue Skies like Watercolor, Computers, Woodworking, Library…. I have more things I’m disappointed in with the West Side. The East side is my heaven and Georgia Gold
