After months of bullying both emotional and physical I pulled my six-year old out before the end of the year- following both my gut instinct and the recommendation of the therapist that was referred to us by Jemicy. Interestingly enough it was discovered that an uncle of the child who was doing the bullying was on the Board of Directors and several family members of that child attended the school. Basically our child did not stand a chance with our one 33000 tuition versus over 100000 tuitions combined.Oh and despite getting a lawyer involved Jemicy would not return our 3000.00 deposit for the following years tuition stating that there was no proof of bullying there was and frankly the teachers and therapists were stuck between a rock and a hard place as the administration refused to acknowledge what was blatantly obvious. On a positive note Jemicy has the best science program I have ever seen in any private or public school. 99 of the teachers were fantastic it was simply the administration side that failed us. We went back to homeschooling retained a private tutor for far less than 33000 a year and our child is now reading well above grade level.I would consider checking out The Legacy School The Odyssey School or The Highlands School first. I was especially impressed with Legacy.
