Introduction
Hi there! I’m Caitlin, a speech-language pathologist and the owner of The Signing SLP. I’m fluent in ASL and specialize in working with deaf and hard-of-hearing children, as well as kids with diverse communication needs. My approach is rooted in a bilingual, multimodal philosophy—whether a child communicates through ASL, spoken language, AAC, or a combination, I focus on providing meaningful and accessible language support. Every child deserves access to communication in a way that works for them, and I’m passionate about making that happen.

Who are you best positioned to serve?
I specialize in working with deaf and hard-of-hearing children, as well as kids with a variety of communication needs. Whether a child uses ASL, spoken language, or a mix, I tailor my approach to fit their unique strengths. As a fluent ASL user and speech-language pathologist, I focus on creating a language-rich, accessible environment that supports both the child and their family. I also work with CODAs and hearing children who use ASL. My goal is to help families feel confident in supporting their child’s communication in a way that works best for them.
