Founding Story

Cadence AAC was founded to provide specialized, individualized support for children and adults who use augmentative and alternative communication. The practice grew from years of working with people with complex communication needs and seeing how much successful AAC use depends on thoughtful assessment, appropriate access, customization, and support from the people around each communicator.

Cadence AAC provides assessment, consultation, system customization, caregiver coaching, and collaboration with school and medical teams. The practice has particular expertise in eye-gaze, switch access, low vision, and multiple disabilities, with the goal of helping each person use communication tools that are practical, accessible, and meaningful in everyday life.
