Our law practice is focused exclusively on the representation of children and their families in matters of special education law. Our services vary per client and range from a single meeting to on-going representation of your family and advocating for your child’s educational rights. We are experienced in negotiating successful outcomes and in many cases are able to avoid contentious mediations and litigation. We can make a difference in your child’s education.
Prior to becoming a sole practitioner, Mr. Bothwell practiced with the law firms of Grisham, Vandenberg, Nott Conway & Cannon as well as Pray, Price, Williams & Russell. As a partner he received an ”AV” rating with Martindale Hubbell, the national attorney rating service, the highest possible rating for professional competence and ethical excellence.
As a result of his personal experiences contending with his local school district and regional center, in 1997 Bruce changed his practice area to the representation of children with disabilities and their parents under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
