Brooks Rehabilitation - Outpatient – Westside

I have had therapy at this location several times and everyone is so friendly and caring. There is one person that goes above and beyond her job. Antionette Hillary is always helping the therapist when they need help with clients. She has helped me several times when I needed and the therapist was busy. She is there for everyone and I dont think she gets enough recognition. She is the sweetest

Went to Brooks Rehab for postpartum pelvic floor therapy. Dr. Pena and Alexia were and are awesome people to work with. They have treated me well and helped me recover from my pregnancy. I feel stronger and more confident in my health They are fantastic Highly recommend

I really didnt want to have to write this review. But after several and I mean several mishaps with the staff at Brooks Rehab Westside Normandy Blvd. I feel Im only left with this option. My toddler son was referred to one of the best facilities for his speech and communication delays. However from day one front desk staff and a specialist in particular Katie have been the most unorganized and unprofessional in terms of communication and commitments to patients and quality of service healthcare facility Ive ever dealt with.The first day we arrived to the initial evaluation appointment and Katie was late to come to the lobby to call us back. Once she came to the lobby she asked if we could come back later or reschedule because of an issue with scheduling and she had other appointments. Yes I was floored. We had driven all the way to our prescheduled appointment on time and were not called ahead of time to ask if they could move our appointment around. My husband and I told her that our entire week was based around this appointment we had driven quite a distance and we wanted to be seen as scheduled. She ended up seeing my son 30 minutes or so after our scheduled time.At the conclusion of the appointment we were advised by Katie that she submit the authorization request for continued appointments and would give us a call in a couple of weeks. Several weeks went by and no call at all. I finally called and guess what They had been sitting on the authorization. I asked why no one had reached out to us to schedule my son as his needs are critical. The front desk associate with a nonchalant tone and demeanor made the excuse that the authorization had just came in.My son was scheduled for a session tomorrow Katie called today and said there is an issue with scheduling so my son wont be able to have his session tomorrow. She didnt say that shed be out of the office tomorrow but that there was an issue with scheduling. Which makes me think shes just choosing not to see my son because hed not a priority. Now for next week she stated that hed have to see another specialist because she wont be in the office. Another concern I have is that my son has been approved for 2 visits per week. He has only been put on the schedule for one visit per week.Hes been going to that facility for 2 months now and has only worked with Katie 3 times. Katie has cancelled with us at least 3 or 4 times which has forced us to either not see a speech therapist in the office at all or see other specialists which causes an inconsistent and ineffective experience for my son the one who is really suffering. Hes met with Vie who has since relocated on two or three occasions and Erin on one.I feel like my sons needs arent being considered and taken seriously. Were being pushed on the back burner and not receiving the full level of service were entitled to and should be receiving. Hes not even being seen the amount of times per week hes authorized to be seen. This has been the most stressful situation Ive had to deal with pertaining to healthcare for my son. Im hoping someone there fixes this.

This is the worse rehab their business practices from day one were horrible. The list of things they did are to long to go into but as far as a referral goes i wouldnt refer this rehab to an enemy. Dont get sick they will cancel ALL your future appointments and not tell you. So my time is not important to this place i called to cancel when i was sick first day i showed up after being sick i found out all my appts for the future were cancelled. No effort was made to make this wrong right either. Thats only one thing but like i said the list of the way they conduct business is to long to get into. DO NOT USE BROOKS is my referral.

I highly recommend coming to this Brooks Rehab Westside site. The staff is friendly and helpful. My OT Sylvie did a great job on getting my elbow out of pain and working right. She genuinely cares about her patients.

I want to thank you again for all you have done for me. It is truly a pleasure to be with people who really care and push me towards my limits. So many times your joy and your encouragement have lifted me out of the stress and burden of this season of testing. Thank You to Paulo Carolee Rebecca for taking the time to explain things the atmosphere of kindness and joy ministered to my spirit and helped me heal emotionally as well. It was a blessing for me to have worked through my therapy with all of the staff

I dont understand why you even have a phone. Nobody ever answers the phone. And when you leave a message to call you back. Nobody calls you back. How can you schedule your physical therapy when you cant speak to anyone

This is the best out-patient rehabilitation clinic that my mother has been referred to. The desk staff is very professional and we have never had a problem with scheduling and the physical therapy staff is extremely knowledgeable and thorough.What I really liked the most was the initial consultation. Melissa her physical therapist was so patient polite and genuine. She was also thorough when examining her symptoms and she asked a lot of questions. She didnt assume anything as often times youll notice with physical therapist sometimes they tend to treat each client the same.My mother also was referred for an occupational therapist at the same location. She was very pleased with her initial visit with Alexandria. She expressed how thorough and polite she was.I also like the fact that if your appointment is for an hour you will stay for an entire hour not 50 or 55 minutes. You will be receiving therapy for the entire hour.I am looking forward to my mom having a fast recovery.I would recommend this location for your out-patient needs.

I had my appointment canceled and was told its only one day to reschedule for which I told the schedule operator that day possibly wouldnt work. She informed if it doesnt work call back we will reschedule . Received a call from another scheduling operator to try to reschedule and she informed me Im being drop without explanation. Bad experience for a place to be a rehabilitation establishment customer service was the rudest Ive ever experienced. No empathy for serious circumstance Im coming to be seen for I rather stay in pain than support this place.Im writing this review for everyone to be aware of the unfair treatment. I just completed 12 weeks of physical therapy after rotator cuff labrum surgery. I feel great now. The therapy wasnt easy but if it was no one would need it. My therapist was Ashley and she is amazing. She was always on time which is important to me. Most of all she really cares about her patients. She motivated me to really do what I needed to do to get better. Ashley always was very aware of my progress and would remove exercises and stretches that werent getting the desired results and adding new ones until we got something that worked. I still have some work to do to get my strength. I still have a few more appointments that are stretched out to make sure I get back to 100.Thanks Ashley. You are AWESOMEJohn R.
