Positives BILT has some really amazing staff. However many of the positive reviews here are written by her or her staff which is against Googles policies.Negatives Christina over promises has poor communication and is more focused on adding clients than meeting commitments to current clients.Like another reviewer rotating staff was an issue. Christinas response indicated that the staff were aware of the childs needs but neglected to acknowledge how distressing rotating staff can be on a child with special needs.Christina told us our son would be receiving after school care 5 days a week but after months she had not yet once met that commitment. We would only find out she wasnt providing what was promised a few days ahead of time via a Google calendar. We were constantly being left scrambling to fill in care by taking time off work or when possible fill in with limited after school activities. Finally she isnt even aware of her own policies. When I asked an employee if she was available to work a couple hours earlier in the day she said yes but asked I confirmed with Christina. When I emailed Christina asking for the time change she scolded me saying I couldnt discuss changes like this without first asking her claiming its against the policy book it is not . In response to me questioning what I did wrong she snapped back with and incredibly rude email stating that if I didnt like her scheduling and policies I didnt have to use her services. Because we needed care five days a week and not two like she was giving us we decided it wasnt worth being treated so poorly.

Although the owner Christina seems very knowledgeable and organized she doesnt seem to have the capacity to adequately train the amount of staff needed to keep up with all her clients. We used BILT for about 2.5 months for childcare and skill-building for my son. We had a lot of churn in staff - probably half a dozen different people watching him. It was hard to build a relationship with any of the caregivers. Our instructions for them tended to become unclear in the game of telephone caused from us not being the ones to train them directly. Without that relationship they also didnt feel comfortable voicing any concerns to us. Id been hoping that using an agency would make things smoother for us but that turned out not to be the case.

When I interviewed 3 months ago with BIlT Christina I really could feel she was a person that truly puts the person supported first. This is very important to me. She continues to be this person and it motivates me to be my best. I care for the individuals and want them to experience everything they can. I want to help them in the way they want. Christina has giving me the opportunity to do this. She supports me and is always there to help me when something is challenging. In my experiences Bilt is by far the most person centered company I have worked for. The staff I have met and trained with are reflections of Christina. Each one of them was kind and helpful. My transition into the job was amazing. Anyone that has struggled to find the right supports for individuals with disabilities should reach out to Built. I would also tell anyone who wants to do something meaningful and truly put clients first this is the place to work. BILT Christina is a companyperson that has improved how we care for people.
