Introduction
Hi! I’m Ms. Bridget, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in the Baltimore area. I work with children ages 1–21 to support their communication through fun, engaging therapy centered around each child’s interests. I love creating activities and themes that motivate kids while celebrating the small successes that build confidence and steady progress over time. I specialize in areas such as AAC, articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, childhood apraxia of speech, and autism. I’m also passionate about empowering caregivers with simple tools and practical strategies they can use at home to help their child’s communication bloom.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
patient
engaged
resourceful
If I had to choose three words to describe myself, they would be patient, engaged, and resourceful. Patience is essential in my work because every child learns at their own pace, and I believe progress happens when children feel supported and encouraged along the way. Being engaged means I fully invest in getting to know each child—their interests, strengths, and motivations—so therapy feels meaningful and motivating. I’m also resourceful, always finding creative ways to adapt activities, tools, and strategies to meet each child’s unique needs and help families carry communication practice into everyday routines.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to support children ages 1–21 who are working on speech and language development, including articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, AAC, childhood apraxia of speech, and autism-related communication needs. I especially enjoy working with families who value collaboration and want practical ideas they can use during everyday routines to support their child’s progress. While I have experience across many communication areas, I’m not as well-positioned to serve children whose primary needs involve dysarthria, brain injuries, or feeding. In those cases, I’m always happy to help families find specialists who can best support their child.
